Right?! It was soo good! xD I was always excited to see a new episode. It's too bad Damiani left. I really liked that guy, even though he was a harsh critic.

I wasn't on the forum exactly, but I used to leave comments on their videos at times, haha.

I used to be on the GT forums as well, but moved over here several years ago. Dunno how it was recently, but at the time the fanboy wars was terrible and people were trolling and flaming everywhere.

Anyway as I already said in the news section, it surprises me, but as of... 3 years or so, every major site redesign has been pretty bad and the media player they use for all of their videos is absolutely terrible:
Issues with proper buffering; when going into/or exiting fullscreen it can happen that there's only audio left; lagging videos etc.

I saw myself using it less and less.

On the actual topic itself, this is a pretty sucky thing.

GT had a lot of fantastic features, the place is gonna be missed. Hope the staff find new places to continue making great content.

Someone great will hopefully get Kyle Bosman and let him do his thing.

Only went on that site a handful of times and can't say I cared for the design of the site personally.

I still remember when this design came and how people complained about the VGC Buddy (people didn't like it and some wanted it fixed at the top of the page) and the green color. We were promised a solution... but it never came.

I don't remeber who was, but someone made Firefox scripts that changed the color to blue (the old VGC color) and red. We should have the ability to do that.

Hopefully you disable ads for certain sites then. Some sites deliver great content without obnoxious ads, and it sucks if they don't get their well deserved ad-revenue. (FYI I'm not neccesarily talking about VGC )
