Never been banned, I am a model member.

Me: "Questions: Can a banned person still come to this site not logged in, just to lurk the boards and such? Will doing this cause a perma ban? (I know that sounds really dumb)

Secondly, what happens if a banned person tries to login? Does it just lock oneself out of their account, or do will that cause a perma ban?
I know making alternate accounts will cause perma ban, but will the other too?

Smeags: "When a user is banned they are incapable of logging into their profile, but they can still access VGChartz and lurk around. They just can't comment in the forums, users walls, or PM other users.

I forget what exactly happens (maybe I should ban myself to find out :P) but I assume that when a user tries to log in when they're banned they go straight to the home page without actually logging in.

Never been banned, got a couple warnings though.

i have been banned more than 10 times.
The average time is  a week, but two times i have been banned for a month.

OT: If you get banned, you simply cannot sign in to your VGChartz account for a period of time (1-3-5-7-10-14-20-30-45-60 days) depending on how many moderations you have and  depending on your behavior as well.

i have been warned once and banned 7 times.
i was on medication for last 6-7 months and one of the side effects was extremely short temper. thankfully my condition improved and i won't have to take it as often, so hopefully i'll be banned less (haven't been banned in 5 months so that's a start!).

Got banned 2 or 3 times, but only for 24 hours. I try to be funny,sometimes but fail miserably. It's apparently a very thin line between fun and trolling...

If you're banned, you can't do anything. You're logged out automatically and if you try to log in, you get an error message. Won't cause a perma ban though.
