As (totally unofficial) leader of the NDF on Joystiq and it's affiliates, i've seen more people migrate away from Wii to PS360 than the other way around. Public opinion here on VGChartz seems to be rather unique in it's pro-Nintendo optimism. Other communities are generally overtly hostile.

Doesn't apply to me at all (i see the hope for the future, etc.), but those who love their PS360s have only gotten more hostile to Wii as time goes on, not less. Except for JRPG lovers, they've almost been forced to come around to the platform

You know, i'm trying to point out that FF13 was taken granted as PS3 exclusive, so its potential have been partially used already. Also Kingdom Hearts 3 was taken as granted PS3 exclusive, although, it's not sure whether which platform it will end up. No matter the platform, it propably will have bigger effect counting from announcement, than FF13 has after the launch.
And, considering how big effect GTA4 had, it's doubtful FF13 will have any bigger (except maybe for Japan). The thing that GTA4 showed was, that the hype had already sold consoles for GTA coming on the platforms.

@Seraphic: I don't know should you give more basis to your opinion, it doesn't show you in a very good light. I'm not saying that you're not entitled to your opinion and to form it to any basis you want to, but i got an impression you were using your own preference as a reference to your response about the topics question.
You do represent a certain group very well, but i doubt it's the majority of the people. There's two things i'd like to point out; we don't yet know what the Wii support will end up, all we can do is to predict the financial consiquenses of the publishers choices and use that as a reference on their actions and that even the people who don't like the Wii, are finding games on the system they'd like to play.

GTA 4 surely wasn't as good as the other GTA games. I played it on my 360 which upscales every game to 1080p

It is not the same my friend, it is not the same. You said "lot of PC gamers have shown a lot of interest towards the Wii, due to it being different from what PC offers", but this different games are those I'm not interested - Mario & Co, Wii Fit, Wii Sports and so on. I don't care about Lips, Viva Pinata or Banjo. At the moment there are no games like Dead Space, Gears, Army of Two, Fallout 3 or Ninja Gaiden for 360 I will sell mine for a PS3.

What is the point to play FIFA 09 on Wii, if I can play it on 360. The game looks and plays way better on 360 IMO. Why I need to pay to get gimped version, if I could pay same/or a bit more and to play better version?

I can give you a good example. I played Tomb Raider Anniversary on 360 early this year and then again later on PS2. It is just not the same, especially if you played 360 version first, as in my case. Same game, same controls, same story, but satisfaction is not on the same level, cos 360 version was way more beautiful. A few months later PS2 owner return me the visit and played the same game. He was like "WOW. It looks awesome." This is why RE 4 Wii was a success - same game, same graphics, better controls = satisfied players. Now look at Dead Rising Wii do you think it will sale 2 m copies as 360 version?

And it is not olny about graphics. You need to choose what you can loose and what you will win. FIFA on 360 and PC looks same - great. I can play FIFA on my PC too, but again the fun to play with my friends in my living room is just not there. That is why I prefer to play FIFA on 360. Same goes to third-person shooters. I have Gears of War, Army of Two and Dead Space for 360. On the other hand to play FPS games without kbd and mouse is decreasing my satisfaction from the game. I loose more from this then I gain from playng on my 40'' HDTV. Guess for which platform I bought Bioshock and Call of Duty?

The Wii is definitely going to be the most likely "second" console this generation.

There is very little reason for someone to own a both a 360 and PS3.
