Sony 4K UHD Player. They didn't make a ton of models, and I don't feel the need to specify right now.
I have watched discs on my PS5 and Xbox One X, and even watched a few on PS4 Pro years and years ago.
My non-Gaming PC (never had a Gaming PC) has a DVD drive, but I've never used DVDs on it yet. Just burned a couple CDs.

PS3 - You put the disk in and click play. Easy.

I remember trying to watch a BluRay on a PS4 once, but it wanted me to download something, and/or sign up for some crap first, so I switched the PS4 off and booted up the PS3 instead.

That said, I haven't watched a BluRay movie for years.

I been using a dedicated sony since 2021 (UBPX800M2). I have no complaint with the quality as long as you have it set correctly. It has one VERY annoying downside through as it don't auto detect dolby vision so I have to keep a list of all my blu-rays of which one support dolby vision and which one dont so that I can manually set dolby vision on or off as needed. I got a really good price on it back in 2021 (black friday sale $180) so I got my money worth out of it despite that one annoyance.

I'm still using a Laser multi regional player we've had since like 2010; still works really well. 

I tried using various consoles as a player over the years and found the results weren't as good as a dedicated machine, to my eyes anyway.

I'm building my own digital library ripping my disks. But until I'm done the PS5 is my disc-player of choice.
Bought it because I wanted a UHD bluray player and skipped out on PS4 because it did not.

In my home cinema connected to my Epson EH-TW9400 projector:
- Panasonic DP-UB424 (mainly for 4K Ultra discs, but also compatible to Blu-ray 3D + 2D, DVD and Audio-CD)
- codefree Sony BDP-S6700 (mainly for Blu-ray 3D + 2D, but also compatible to DVD and Audio-CD)
- Toshiba HD-EP10 (mainly for HD-DVD discs, but also compatible to DVD and Audio-CD)
- Xbox One X (mainly for all streaming apps, but also compatible to 4K Ultra discs, but also for Blu-ray 3D + 2D, DVD and Audio-CD)

In my living room connected to my LG OLED C9 TV:
- Xbox Series X (for all streaming apps, 4K Ultra discs, Blu-ray 2D and DVD)
- PlayStation 5 (for all streaming apps, 4K Ultra discs, Blu-ray 2D and DVD)

So I have some redundancy if a player doesn't like some discs.

Same little box I've had under the TV for 15 years.

You can take my physical DVDs from my cold, dead fingers.

I think the last thing I watched a disk on was PS3 many years ago (probably over 15 now?).
For quite a long time, I’ve run everything out of the Apple hardware ecosystem: ubiquitous, easy, reliable.

THe last time I watched something on BRD was on my PS4. Mostly to test a couple of discs I got. Haven't watched anything on disc ever since. But I am thinking of starting a collection and actually buying a dedicated player, seeing as this will obviously remain the last and final format for video storage.

I use my TV to watch Blu Rays.
