I really enjoyed it, I didn't feel the need to play through it again or even play the dlc in the past. With the third dlc coming, I'm more than likely going to finally go back and play through it again along with all the major dlcs. I don't think it's unrivaled at all. Very good game, but plenty of better games.

I get to understand why I keep this game in my top spot cause there litterally isn't anything that comes to this level
RDR2 kinda but that games aren't pain to play, this game KNOWS it's a video game. It's such perfectly balanced between cinema and video game. I can't believe my fourth playthrough would once again feel so damn good. The remaster drops in 20 days, I don't think I can hold off on going slowly for it. The game is exceptionally, wonderfully amazingly well crafted and one of the most interesting pieces of media I have ever come across with the best characters of any story I can think of. You never feel like you are alone playing this game and I know when I finished this game and the DLC in two or three months I'll be left with TW3 withdrawals and have that massively depressive feeling of loosing friends in real life mixed with the home sickness and not knowing what to play cause nothing can come close.

I should have it finished by the time GTA6 releases and I know for a fact it's gonna make me more critical of that game. Probably should have left this playthrough til afterwards but I'm in it til the end now.

Im just glad its getting enhanced. Never played the dlc either. This will be a good distraction as im skipping gta6.

Another thing is, this game has one of the best weapon and gear progression systems in gaming. It feels as good as Diablo without the loot dumping every ten minutes. Upgrades are meaningful and weighty and unique feeling. There are some random weapons that serve no use except for gold but none of it feels like spam. Progressing the gear feels fantastic but what really takes the throne is the master armourer, master swordsmith and the Witcher gear quests. I can't think of a game that done it this well. I only usually go for the Wolf set but I'm going to grab them all this time because of the Transmog that'll be in the remaster but I only have one complaint. You should be able to start the treaure quests and farming earlier even if the quests are mid game cause even though I'm level 14 and can start the wolf gear set it's locked to Lear Morhan.

Oh and farming for oils, bombs, decotions and so on is so much fun as is looting and grinding money. This game beats out many looter shooter games in this regard. The TLC that went into the game is astonishing, even if some of it was post release. I absolutely love looting and scavenging in the game. Litterally only the junk feels like it has no purpose and even that is to grab gold for the later gear quests and buying from alchemists and what not and then there's that, you don't ever need to seem to have to farm, everything comes in time but if you haven't got something you can buy it and the economy is so well balanced to keep you from simply buying everything.

Oh, you're in for a treat. Why not start a bit sooner on the next gen patch cause it holds up remarkably well and you won't get much into the game in a week or two. You can carry your save file into the remaster. If you're into doing side stuff and don't have unlimited time on your hands.

Whatever you do play on Death March! There is a very slight difficulty bump right off the bat but ten hours in and as long as you're using your tools like oils, bombs, potions and engaging with the games mechanics and building, it will start to feel easy. Too easy, I want a harder difficulty. At least start on the second hardest and then up it after you get the games tools opened up. Thus game on normal or lower is so different that I think it ruins the game. It can litterally be one hit kills and you're immortal on normal is you use the mechanics and it's not as good if you don't need to use them.

Oh FFs, they are capping the remaster at 30 FPS. I won't notice the graphics now cause I'm playing at 60fps with the next gen patch. I'm gonna start rushing it, I think.

Yep. I'm not sure about PRO but base PS5 is 30. One can only hope that it's the 30 you can get used to but knowing CDPR launches it'll have frame pacing, the bloody map screen had frame pacing in the OG release for two weeks. I'm sure they'll get it smooth in time but yup, it's gonna take a while to adjust back to it. The RT mode on the next gen patch is unplayable to me right now and I tried it for a half hour, it actually got me killed in fights 😞.

Edit: Took a quick look at the RT 30 FPS mode before I start the day there, it's actually not bad at all now that I'm not going straight from 60 to 30. It'a very smooth, camera movement is only the tiniest bit jittery. It's not as good as Alan Wake 2 or the like but it's better than most. Problem I had was I kept going straight from 60 to 30 and that was jarring, just started in 30 there and my brain didn't notice half as much.

Gonna play the 30 RT mode on PS5 and see if I can adjust. My day went shit, my bus took off before I had a chance to catch it so now I got some time on my hands to try and make my head adjust before the next lift I can get.

Can't you turn off ray tracing and get 60fps?  Also, csn you confirm if there is motion blur when the camera moves and during combat, like when you swing sword and the moment of impact. Alot of games plagued by taa and inherent motion blur that can't be disabled .
