Also.... SF64 is closer to 5-10 hours on a first playthrough. I know this because I was considering playing it back two years ago and HLTB gave me this time. It's a short and sweet game. Don't see why a game needs to disrespect the player's time via being bloated in order to justify its cost.

Bro, please quote me where I said it was "exactly" the same.

Oh you can't, because you are fighting arguments that was never made.

If you have to lie to make a point, you aren't making the point you think you are.

Oh really? What exactly you want people to assume when you tiped that the game is only 1-2 hour long and you already played the multiplayer mode with friends? Your gaslighting wont work on me

The campaign is 1 to 2 hours long, fact.

You asked if I was aware it had other modes, i said yes because the original did, which is a fact.

You then claimed I said it was "exactly" the same.  Quote me.  Where did I say that?

I didnt.  You are lying.

I love SF64, but enough is enough! I really want a robust and ambitious single-player game

@Chrkeller fair, guess i read too much into it. Sorry for that

I am not hostile.  You are doing Nintendo defense, again.

I was accused of lying.  I did not lie about a damn thing.

I have no problems with people busting me up over things I have done, but I am going to be called a liar for something I flatly did not say.

And has a priced been confirmed?  I like Star fox and based on galaxy 1 and 2 for the S2, I am concerned Nintendo price is way too high.

Am I not allowed to have an opinion unless it is Nintendo is the bestest?

Aah... so this is what a third Star Fox 64 remake does to a person. LOL! (I'm not laughing at you, just trying to make light of the situation.) Well fair enough. I don't have much to respond to here so I'll leave it at that.

2 hours from HLTB.  No idea where you are getting 5 to 10.

ok its 49.99 digital, which means 59.99 physical

Exactly what I expected, lol.

Pretty much confirmed $60 is their new "lower tier" pricing, I wonder how many games will be $80 for now on. Probably most mainline games.

I play games to completion— 10 hours is what is listed, so that would be 12-15 hours for me. I usually take my time with my games... it's a bit annoying especially when I'm looking for a small appetizer to hold me over a week or two.

I take it you haven't played SF64?  Your first comment was 10 hours for the "first" play, now it is to completion.  You can't 100% the game on one play, hence your first comment confused me.

The game is really good, your first play with be at most 2 hours.

On the one hand, I would have loved an all-new game, but on the other, a gorgeous remake of a game that was one of my all-time childhood favourites is a hell of a lot better than nothing, so I'm quite happy with this.

This is also noteworthy in that it's the first Nintendo game that truly looks like a Switch 2 game, as opposed to a Switch 1 game with enhanced performance.

Bring on June 25th!

Also Firebush, can we get the thread title updated now the game is announced please? :)

Technically this thread is supposed to be about what we want from a modern Star Fox— I still believe that we will be seeing a new Star Fox for the reasons I've already laid (it's in an earlier comment on this thread... in short: Remakes and remasters often preceed reboots when talking about Nintendo. So discussion surrounding a new Star Fox is something worth continuing to discuss.)

Perhaps somebody could create a new thread? I'd be fine with that. :)
