Yeah that doesn't surprise me. Ryuu, I haven't been all too worried about (well... not quite like with Rol) since he was quite vocal in wanting to move on. I'm happy to see him find somewhere new! He always talked about moving over to Discord— it's great to see everything has worked out for him.

Just a continuation on my earlier post (which says I sometimes go inactive for stretches). Never do I go without logging in for over 3 weeks, even if just for a curiosity glance or accidental (habitual) login. Also, I typically leave off with a post that indicates that I'm going to be less active/inactive. He's done neither of these two things:

Sometimes things appear in your life out of sudden and you see yourself away from your usual habits for a long time, no time for giving signs, its just happens. Maybe it's something good or bad. Or out of blue he just decided not seeing this site anymore to pursuit other hobbies or projects. Probably we will only know when/if he returns. 

I had left here for about 4-½ months back in 2024 and I didn't leave any sort of notice. I was kinda burned out on all the toxicity in gaming discussion, plus sales discussions had gotten boring because of the lack of real data. Not even sure why I came back in the first place. Maybe something similar happened with Rol and he got burned out on gaming discussion. Or life simply got in the way. It happens.

I still want to know what happened to Boutrous, guy just dissapeared when the pandemic was starting, never came back, and I never knew if he was ok or not.

Hopefully everything is fine with both him and Rol.

I already stopped coming to this site a few times, once I was decided to drop it for good, but I was already not coming here anymore basically, several months latter I did come back tho.

He added me elsewhere, and while we haven't talked, because apparently I suck at social things like that, he's definitely been active. I'd be shocked if it was actually someone else pretending to be him, so I think I'm going to consider him alive and probably well too.

Before leaving here, he was also talking about wanting to do so, so it's no shock he did eventually leave.

I hope they're all okay.

I bailed on VGChartz for like 6 months back in 2015 during the doom and gloom era where pretty much all Nintendo related discussion was overwhelmingly negative and the console warring was super toxic.

I'm too attached to leave permanently, this forum has been my comfort zone since like 2009 when I first joined the online gaming community.

I bailed for sometime because a select person was wearing me out. Only came back, ironically because they left. I guess things come and go.
