I just realized— The-Pi-Guy is another very notable member of the VGChartz community who disappeared right around the time of Ryuu and Rol. Hm. That’s interesting.

I'm a notable member?

Lol! Well... it's good to see you here haha!! I just glanced at your profile this morning and noticed you hadn't been posting as frequently since September. It hasn't like Rol nor Ryuu, but it was around the same time they left. I guess maybe its just a weird coincidence that all three of you took breaks around the same time? I remember at that time there was a sudden campaign to boost site activity via creating more threads.

Ah, I guess it's been longer than I thought.

Just hasn't been a lot of crazy game news. Kind of burnt out by politics at the moment.

Just as a note, I'm going to be mostly gone (again), but this time only for the next 6 to 8 weeks → probably back about mid to late April
I'm neither burnt out or have any kind of health/personal issues, just really busy with University (yeah, probably a midlife crisis thing; but I felt like heading to a greener pasture).

If I'm around, it'll just be for quips and (probably) change the Iran thread name next weekend depending on how the situation develops.
For now, have a good one. I'll see you around.

People will from now on immediatly start looking for the two other profiles you manage when all three of them log out together.

Guarantee you rol has seen every comment in this thread. Youre not as slick as you think you are rol. I know you really think you are, but youre not. He thinks he can fool everybody

Take care, Jumpin. Appreciate you letting us know. As somebody who took a break last week partially due to university labor (among other things), I can relate to this a ton. Make sure to look after yourself— university burnout is no fun!

I think you might have too much time on your hands.

Thanks for the response. I suppose that's the benefit to going back to university after having been in the work force for quite a while; time and stress management skills. Also, following instructions very carefully, and understanding studying as a skill-learning process that technology can help a lot with. Various other skillsets such spreadsheets and coding/scripting skills come in handy when hacking together stuff aid in the story process.

Also, it seems that you can get about 100% on any essay just by structuring it correctly and not using AI. There is a lot of "forum discussion" type assignments now that didn't exist when I went to school before; and it is disgusting at how many responses are clearly just LLM generated. I mean, come on! It's a few minutes!

Welcome back and a great use of that quote. Though, right after he says that the credits start rolling.
