Just as a note, I'm going to be mostly gone (again), but this time only for the next 6 to 8 weeks → probably back about mid to late April
I'm neither burnt out or have any kind of health/personal issues, just really busy with University (yeah, probably a midlife crisis thing; but I felt like heading to a greener pasture).

If I'm around, it'll just be for quips and (probably) change the Iran thread name next weekend depending on how the situation develops.
For now, have a good one. I'll see you around.

Take care, Jumpin. Appreciate you letting us know. As somebody who took a break last week partially due to university labor (among other things), I can relate to this a ton. Make sure to look after yourself— university burnout is no fun!

Thanks for the response. I suppose that's the benefit to going back to university after having been in the work force for quite a while; time and stress management skills. Also, following instructions very carefully, and understanding studying as a skill-learning process that technology can help a lot with. Various other skillsets such spreadsheets and coding/scripting skills come in handy when hacking together stuff aid in the story process.

Also, it seems that you can get about 100% on any essay just by structuring it correctly and not using AI. There is a lot of "forum discussion" type assignments now that didn't exist when I went to school before; and it is disgusting at how many responses are clearly just LLM generated. I mean, come on! It's a few minutes!
