Got mine when preorders opened here three weeks ago.

Bagged the console, MK World, a Pro controller, and Cyberpunk, and the first thing I do when I fire it up is heading to the eshop to buy FAST Fusion.

You can still order it in Australia lol:

Yeah I got mine from JB Hifi with no issues; weird that I'm hearing about it being sold out pretty much everywhere else, but here in our country of less than 30 million people it's freely available.

I feel like we have less of a culture of FOMO and having to have the cool new thing day 1 compared to some other places, like we have no equivalent to Black Friday.

I think it's because all the sneaker flippers are atm buying up Pokémon to flip. They so focused on it and not touching the Switch 2. Which is good for gamers.

They come to my shop and get pissed of when we only sell it by the pack and not sealed boxes for them to flip.

Caved in and decided to preorder in case trade war BS raises the price again in the future. Had Best Buy, Target, and Walmart ready to go. Best Buy was useless this time around (bought my PS5 at launch from them). Target jerked me around for 40 minutes with hundreds of attempts to check out before they canceled my order outright. I was about to call it a night when I suddenly reached the front of the digital line at Walmart. Once there they handled the order like pros. Looking forward to hopping on the track in early June.

In no rush to get one. Maybe pick one up when they release a newer model years from now.

Ditto. I'll be either waiting for a price cut or waiting for a $100 cheaper Switch 2 Home model. I'm happy to continue to play my Switch for a few years if need be until Nintendo comes out with an affordable next gen option.

I decided to not go through the hassle of online pre-ordering and waited patiently after my job to get one at my local GameStop.

I wanted the core edition to get MK World in physical but apparently, the MK Bundle is the actual primary SKU ... Ugh, hope I can change it before launch.

Anywoo, depending on the key card physical situation, I'll hope to be able to get 3rd party games on full physical carts.
So far, it looks to be MK World, Donkey Kong Bananza, the upgrade edition for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Fast Fusion, No Sleep for Kaname Date and Deltarune Ch3+4 in the first few months of the launch. More than thrilling enough if I compare it to only getting Zelda BOTW and MK8DX during the OG Switch launch months.

I wish I could switch with you lmao

I want the MK bundle because I'm digital only but the MK bundle was sold out and the last unit they had was the Core SKU lol

For launch, I'm just getting Mario Kart World and will be playing it day 1 since I'll be buying it for full price - thinking about getting it from my local costco's eshop cards since its $90 for a $100 eshop card.

I'll get Donkey Kong Bananza a few months later once I'm done with MKW.

I'll get Bravely Default Remaster when it eventually goes on sale, $40 isnt that bad compared to the rest of the prices but I paid $40 for the OG Bravely Default on 3DS and not interested in getting it day 1 like the 3DS version.

Aside from that, I'm gonna be catching up to games I didnt play yet from my Switch 1 library that will be enhanced like Breath of the Wild, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, etc.

Yep! I got it from Walmart. I had to connect my PayPal account to my Walmart account just to get it to go through.

Had to do the same when I preordered the Switch 2 version of Tears of the Kingdom on Target. I initially tried to preorder the Switch 2 on there, but it didn't work out.

I'd definitely opt for a switch up *wink* of our pre-orders haha. Though, without the hassle you went through for one 😅

Also after learning all Marvelous Switch 2 games are all on actual full physical cartridges in NA, Imma also buy Daemon X Machina Scions !

No. -_- But there's still Yule.

No, I didn't even try. The only platform I ever got at launch was 3DS.
PS5 is my main console right now and can keep me occupied until August or later when I get a Switch 2.

Whoa. This is a vastly majority Nintendo site in my experience and only 46% are getting one and 41% have the preorder. Wow.
