Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Neglecting my Switch since 2020, has it stagnated or is there still good stuff on it?

Switches best year...

2017 2 22.22%

2018 0 0%

3019 2 22.22%

2020 1 11.11%

2021 1 11.11%

2022 1 11.11%

2023 2 22.22%

2024 0 0%

Total:9

Nintendo hasn't put out anything first party that looks good to me since I left my switch off to the side in 2020 but is there anything second party or third party I can't get on my go to ecosystem, Playstation? Or has the Switch stagnated like I believe it has, seems like everything good happened between 2017 and 2020.

BTW, I have played some stuff on it since 2020 but indie stuff, Dusk, Steam world Dig, slay the Spire but all I could have gotten on Playstation bar Dusk.

2021 has Metroid Dread and 2023 has Tears of Kingdom. Tears is optional, if you loved Breath you wikl like Tears too, bur if you think you are burned out by BOTW I think you can skip Tears

Dread is a must-have for someone who like side scrollers, or metroidvanias in general. If you like Hollow Knight or Ori you will love it

I don't know if I should recommend Splatoon 3. It's a good game, but it's less newbie friendly compared to Splatoon 2. If you have previous experience with 2 you will like 3

2024 has the definitive version of SMT V, but it's multiplat, you can get it on PS5

Oh boy ...

Ok, so I'll let you on that I have been gaming with my Switch this whole generation so I'll tell you that the games released on it past 2020 have nothing to envy with the previous years. Plenty of great games to be had.
Though, if they don't appeal to you or do not have the performance you desire, it's fair but that's just a you problem.

Oh Bayonetta 3. I had no idea. That's a stealth releasenor did I have a clue there's a new Fire Enblem, I loved three houses but since I haven't heard if it I have to assume it's smaller scale release. Seeing FF Zero just makes me want a Wipeout or Redout game that takes advantage of the SSD to bring really insane speeds to the genre, like super human speeds. Thanks for the list!

Someone mentioned Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem Engage and FF Zero. Three titles that are all up my ally buy I had zero idea about. After I clear up some stuff on ps5 I'm playing and hoping for a holiday/Jan sale I'm going to get on Bayonetta 3, I love those games.

Yeah, I have been threading for personal stuff. I suppose I should stop that. Or are you pissed off about the attractive character thread.

EDIT: Someone put up a thread about 360 recommendations so it's not uncommon, I assume you're just salty about the attractive character thread or the Trump thread.
