Suikoden 3 97hours in chapter 5, fantastic game one of the best i played on ps2!

Just started Elden Ring. Hard Game... But i LOVE it

Age of imprisonment. I'm having fun with it but in no way is this game worth $70. Glad I only paid $3 for it.

Right now I'd say it is my game of the generation at the very least.  Final Fantasy is my favorite series, but I think the last really amazing one was FF10, with FF7 being my favorite.  This game felt like a return to form for them.  There were a ton of moments and locations and such that just really blew me away.  That is what I remember from FF games from 4 to 10 (and I also think 1 is pretty good).  They just kept outdoing themselves and everyone else to the point that I just expected the FF games to be the best games being released.  But since FF13, I haven't felt that way.  The quality dropped, but the bar was very high from me.

I didn't think the quality was really there for FF7 Remake either, which is to say it was uneven.  There are parts of that game that I really liked, but plenty other parts that either disappointed me or pissed me off.  FF7 Rebirth was so amazingly good for about 99% of the game, and had several really emotional parts for me.  I DO think they flubbed the ending, but the rest of the game was so good I'm willing to overlook that.  It really feels that Final Fantasy is back and they've been gone for about 2 decades.

I agree on pretty much everything you said lol (I did love FF14، but it's kind of its own thing, with all the MMO jank). FF12 was also very good but overall a step down from FF4-FFX imo. I really liked 7 Remake but I thought it had way more flaws than Rebirth. Then again Rebirth owes much of its greatness to systems established by Remake.

Fingers crossed the trilogy gets a sales boost following its conclusion, and whatever Hamaguchi will be working on next lives up to the standard set by Rebirth (and hopefully Revelation).

Because of 'The Librarian' I am now totally sucked into the tidy up games and its community. 

I am honestly impressed how Steam is doing it extremely well to make me get new games or put attention to it also it is so gamerfriendly,

While on Steam I am also in the community while on consoles I always felt like I had to leave the consoles to get into a community (gamefaqs/youtube/Discord whatever).

Anyway I played this week:

Supermarket Chaos

Oh no an entity came into the shop and created a mess now all the products need to put up on the shelves again.

It may sound boring to pick up a product and just find the right shelves but most of the games have a level/ability up system that makes 

it also rewarding to continue to play it; what ability will you get next?  Can I finish it in a few hours?  Wait the game is getting updating and gets more maps and mp!    Really a must if you loved The Librarian.  

Also I was NR 620.247 who finished the task of cleaning it...Also makes a point that those kind of games are getting huge...

Leaf It alone

A very short game (2 hourish, more if you want to complete it but more maps are coming for free) and it is on sale for 3.50€.

Book Organizer

Basically like the Librarian but very cheaply made and it has some issues; like very short levels and honestly kind of a pain to play
so I don't recommend it (yet).    It is still getting updated...

Toy Keeper

An EARLY ACCESS game that just released and I could not wait to play.   Yeah basically a cheap knock of The Librarian but with toys...

And my heart was devasted to see it had like 27% positive rating but I still bought it and while it is very slow at the start after 10 minutes you unlocked 

a bunch of new abilities that makes the game and a hour later I had abilities and extra's that make the game so easy...  

It took me four hours and I spend 4 € for it and I felt it worht it but what surprised me is that they had released like 3 updates in my time of finishing the game.

It is positive rating went also up to 50% and it is great to see a dev being so hardworking to make it better but also promise more maps...

I agree with this.  Remake crawled so that Rebirth could walk.  Still it doesn't change the fact that Rebirth is both a much larger game and overall a much higher quality game even in % of time that I'm really enjoying myself.

Just finished Darwin's Paradox. Lovely looking cinematic puzzle platformer that can be finished in one sitting (took me around 6 hours), with lot of old school vibes to it. Pricey for its length ($25), but currently %60 off on Steam, PS and XBOX stores, so worth it for $10.

Finished a game called Slitterhead today. Made by the creator of Silent Hill. Didnt really get what this game was about from the trailers. Kinda gave me Ghostwire Tokyo vibes. I didnt like that game so I was expecting not to enjoy this one either, but its actually a great game. Not a perfect game by any means. Some jank here and there, but just the creativity and originality of this game is definitely something I enjoyed. The battle system is fun and the story is really interesting. Would recommend to check this one out.

Rebirth is a good game but damn, it's not that good, it's just way better than remake. When you play them next to each other it seems like a bigger jump but I bet if you were to do them years apart it wouldn't feel so large a gap, Remake sucked in so many areas, Rebirth is better but it still sucks in soooo many areas. Pacing being the biggest for the two games. I'd give Rebirth a 9, could easily be a 10 if they hadn't made such sluggish choices with the design same as Remake and I bet they'll screw up the next cause they'll learn all the wrong things from people praising the second game. 

Not to mention Rebirths story is an absolute piece of dogshit, filled with holes and makes you cognitively dissonant on the nature of the world they are creating in the remakes.
