Without going into details I will say that this game had multiple moments where I got a stronger emotional reaction than any other video game has given me before. The ending wasn't one of them, but I can overlook that. They also just had countless moments where I was just plain impressed and having a ton of fun. I put 150 hours in so far, and I still have some post game content I can explore. I highly recommend FF7 Rebirth to anyone who likes open world games as well as fans of the original game. I was kind of disappointed with FF7 Remake, but they really outdid themselves with Rebirth. I can't wait for Revelation to release next year. |
It's amazing isn't it?! I never played BotW or Elden Ring, but I certainly liked it more than Tears of the Kingdom. It's my game of the generation and the best one I played since Sekiro. It singlehandedly restored my faith in Square Enix (well...Hamaguchi's team). Incredible how they're developing these in just 3 years!
