It's too hot to play VR, but I was craving to play something anyway, so I started Foundation. (The Steam medieval city building game, not the AI slop that's all over YouTube).

Initially it felt like it was going nowhere, just another micro management sim. But after twice deleting my town after 5 hours, I got a nice map to play on in casual mode with infinite money. F capitalism lol. Now it's relaxing. There's still plenty other things for progression, juts not worries about upkeep and not building a church tower too early.

The game builds the residential houses by itself, you paint residential zones. The fun part is you can construct other buildings like manors, tavern, churches anyway you like by clicking parts together. It's basically Settlers or AoE.

PS2 game called Blowout. A middling Run N Gun. Also replaying Contra Shattered Soldier and Neo Contra. Excellent games.

Just beat the very difficult Shinobi on Master System and now Im on the nightmare that is Cloud Master.

I'm all outta easy games. I hope the Witcher 3 holds.

Darn these poll options are making me feel a certain way... we're more than halfway through the third option on this poll, and are one to two years away from the generation being over.

OT: Splatoon Raiders has been an absolute blast so far! Loving every second of it. I also recommend Mina the Hollower, Denshattack!, and... IDK. That's all the new PS5 games that are coming to mind from the past few weeks or so. There's First Light, Halo Remake, and a few others as well.

I'm about to say something spicy

Gradius V might be the best PS2 Konami game. When you get the man behind Ikaruga to make Gradius. Magic happened. Yeah more popular Konami games on PS2. This is def the best shooter on PS2 and maybe Konami's best that gen. I say that as a ZOE2 fan.

I’d have to say even tho I greatly enjoy it to not pick up Sable. I love the world and the vibe but man the game runs so poorly and gets progressively worse the longer you play. I played it on GP years ago and it ran bad on launch and it (even after the patch) brings my PS5Pro to its knees. Luckily tho, nothing is broken outside of the performance, should be finished today with it.
