Yes but that's also when XBSS was $299, so both it and the PS5 Digital was seen as affordable, where are PS5 and XBSX were borderline. Peoples incomes aren't increasing at near the same rate as inflation, so XBSS at $430 today is pretty much seen as the only GTA console that's affordable.
Marketing will only make a major push for the more expensive consoles (besides launch week) if it's advertising good enough deals at this point.

PS2 - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.
PS3 - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.
PS4 - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.
PRO -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.
PS5 - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.
PRO -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.
