Switch takes a big drop from last week, likely from OLED shortages. Xbox Series back over 4K, mostly from Series S sales.

115k for Demon Slayer vs 109k for Metroid. And I don't think DS will have strong legs.

I mean, this is what you get when you're Sega and rather publish your games on Stadia than the Switch

Nintendo really need to slash the price of the NSW Lite, it really has fallen of a cliff over the last few months. Even the handheld crazy Japanese are rejecting it.

i was afraid of this they sold atleast a month worth of production OLEDs last week

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Nice Switch hold considering the shortages.
Those Lite numbers seem low. Is that also in short supply in Japan?

They did from the beginning, the only reason why it has sold anywhere close to as much as it did is because of the shortages of the base model forcing players to buy a Lite instead, especially during the height of the AC:NH hype.

115k vs 86k if comparing first weeks. thus far giving Demon Slayer about a 30% buffer, though we'll see how the second week looks for it next week.

Ouch. I have expected that Switch wouldn't fall below 90k again this year. The OLED model dropped 77 % compared to last week. Shortages must be awful.

Yeah that's  my theory as well, the shortages forced people to get the lite out of necessity which may have given Nintendo false confidence in the Lite but history has shown us that the consumer rejects handhelds that cost $200 or more. Nintendo got the message with the 3DS and now they should with the Lite, i think a $150 price point would be far more appealing and win over those reluctant to spend $200..
