MHR should be around 30%, launch sales and afterwards are never the same. That said I bet it’s at 35% from 40%+ at launch

It was at 40% when the game had shipped 2.5mil in Japan. It's permanently #1 on the eshop. For the digital share to fall down that far it would have needed to completely crater on the eshop, which it didn't. So 35% is the lowest I expect. So around 3mil total sold.
I thought Switch would take a hit YoY this week but it almost sold the same as last year.
On the PS5 side of things, it finally happened (barely): PS5 is now ahead of PS4 launch aligned by 185 units. As a bonus, I've included the next few weeks of sales for PS4 to show PS5's sales are much more healthier than PS4 at this point (week 30 for PS4 is Destiny's launch).

Signature goes here!
Less than 500k from the 20m milestone for the Switch.

I'm not even sure anymore since it seems like the base model is usually in short supply. My gut instinct though was that this week finally looked like the right ratio. |
You actually might be right if we compare it to the same week of last year. But yeah, it is kind hard to know for sure.

Right ahead of RE8. Curious if sony will allocate more units to Japan for its launch.
Switch's model ratio shows a healthier supply this week, this could be aroundabout it's new baseline when stock allows, at least when there's not a holiday or a new game release.
Looks like this is more or less the end of the line for PS4.
Also yikes at Xbox Series, a new system, being outsold more than 5:1 by a console that's been discontinued for 7 months.

I took a quick look at Amazon Japan and it is still available only in limited quantities and marked up by about a third of the price. So we are definitely still not in 'widely available' territory.
