This should make my year.

Usually when people get slower, fatter and find it difficult to walk in a straight line, we call them alcoholics not super.

Here on VGC Mario's agility in 3D games (or rather his lack thereof) was coined the American Fast Food Syndrome. |
They should give him a mobility scooter in the next Mario Kart.

Shigeru Douchebag Miyamoto has been relieved of his duties as Nintendo's general producer, so the chances that Paper Mario returns to its roots aren't bad. |
Miyamotto isn't the primary reason the last two paper mario's were bad. its the current director for PM at insys thats bad.
the one that directed PM1-3 retired fromm paper mario to work on the fire emblem TCG, which, I might add, is amazing, as a fire emblem fan.
also at this point I think most of insys's resources, especially story writing capability, are going into fire emblem after the... uh, trainwreak that was fire emblem fates' plot. three houses was much better.

Yeah I can kinda understand criticism of 3D Mario's movement in the early games like 64 and Sunshine, but in Galaxy 1/2 and Odyssey he controls like an absolute dream and feels responsive, quick, and precise.

Any excuse to give Mario Galaxy another playthrough is very welcome for me. Especially if the graphics are redone and it's on the go. I'll buy 10.
Only past 3d mario game I really enjoyed was 3d world. Id like to give sunshine another go tho.

If we really do get a Paper Mario in the vein of TTYD then all is forgiven for Nintendo. Hell they can release literally no other game this year and I'd be content.
