So Anthem is coming out on the same day as Days Gone.. That's a weird decision, to pit 2 big games against each other on a relatively quiet period for games.

That was ass. They blew it.

Anthem was overall meh. Added a poll. Conference was a step up from last year but still mediocre. I give it a 5/10.

I give it a 2/10 for the intro with the monster coming out of the screen...

Wow, this was....bad. Besides the annual sports games, there is not much else.

I guess there is no problem to top this press conference, but...can someone get an even worse one?

Unravel and Sea of Solitude are the winner of this conference, Star Wars Fallen Order was kinda a worthless announcement.

garbage even for EA's standard

no confidence in the star wars game, and why even bother talking about it if you are just going to say the genre and a rough launch period?

and Anthem... the environments look nice. some of the weapons look cool. but it looks like it was made with a checklist of things they saw in other games in the last five years. and what they were saying with designing with mind to adding loads of content afterwards fills me with dread with the kind of stuff ea get up to.

Watching this was a huge waste of time.

The only reason I watch EA's presentation is because I watch all the conferences.

EA - Generally shit, but I gotta watch it. EA's stuff sucks; no idea why I pretend to care.
Ubisoft - 50/50. I like some Ubisoft games, but often full of cringe. Still, Assassin's Creed makes me happeh.
Microsoft - I always watch with cautious optimism. I want to hear good news, but am always disappointed.
Square-Enix - Not expecting much but they have some of my favourite franchises and upcoming games; could blow my mind.
Bethesda - Same as Square Enix. Not excited but could drop a bombshell on us. Mostly just want Elder Scrolls VI.
Sony - Usually a pretty good showing, tends to have some great bombshells to drop and seems to resonate the most with me.
Nintendo - Usually my favourite in any given year; them or Sony. Lots of great stuff (and we'll see Smash this year, guaranteed)

I also plan on watching Devolver Digital's this year after how balls-crazy their last one was. Plan on doing ranks and mark-out fangirl squeals and stuff as they go along.

EA conferences never cease to amaze in regards to how bad they are every year. At least Anthem looks good. They should have just showed gameplay of that for like an hour.

Anthem looks good, I'm really liking the world and general art style of the game. Definitely looking forward to seeing more from it.

Poor conference overall though gotta give it a 3/10.
