Hopefully HZD2 will be longer.

Is it considered short? Im only playing it now for the first time. Did you play the dlc aswell?

I didn't think it was short I rushed through the main story and I found it to be the perfect length not to long or short. I did do some of the side stuff but not much. Actually going through the game again now on new game + ultra hard.

Damn, I don't know how anyone could rush past those graphics. I spent more hours with graphical wander lust and in photo mode, doing side content along the way than I did playing the main game.

Whenever I play a game with a really good story (which I felt this had) I always rush through it because I'm so desperate to see how it all plays out. On this play through I'm doing exactly what your talking about just enjoying the beaut,y getting lost in the world ,and side tracked from random stuff I find a long the way. Still blows me away how good this game looks.

I agree. I apent 70+ hrs completing the game, doing the side missions and platinuming it. In fact i enjoyed the game more than UC4.

I played the uncharted trilogy great games. I got UC4 recently just couldn't get past the initial intro part after stealing from the auction. Not sure what it is, think I'm just tired of that kind of game play or something. Similar to Gears of War. After #3 I was done I wanted nothing else to do with those games.

Yeah well don't get me wrong. I loved the UC series and loved UC4 particularly the narrative. But the gameplay in Horizon is so much better and addictive. I do agree though that the series will need a refresher of GOW levels before a new gamw can be made.

I would say I feel the same way, and I consider myself a big UC fan.

Horizon has such an original plot(when you really dig into the nitty gritty of it all). I also LOVE the way they made every collectible feel important. Every one of them feels like a small glimpse into the past, fleshing out lore and setting. This really made me wish UC4 collectibles were more like that. This seems to be an aspect they noticed by UC Lost Legacy.

Horizon's subtle advancements go widely unnoticed by many who see it I think. The fluidity of it's combat, it's story progression. I hear it's side missions get dismissed as fetch quest and "not as good as Witcher" but I think that is an unfair assessment. While NPCs are definitely more emotive in Witcher, the side quests of Horizon are just as world building. Not to mention the way they draw you to certain key points is a good flow. Doing the side quests give you insight into the current world of technological advancement and ignorance of what they are using.

Lost Legacy did a really good job of tweaking the UC series' stale mechanics. The ruby bracelet makes the treasure hunt much less daunting. LL also recaptures the upward tempo of UC2 as it progresses.

Good to know. I hadnt realised that LL was a bit different gameplay wise. Just waiting for it to drop in price before I get it.

But single player games are dead though, right? lol

Fighting against stormbirds is also very enjoyable and challenging. It's also a very impressive machine to look at (in photo mode), since it will crush you if you stand still too long. Anyway if you want too take some good shots in photo mode, you can't do much wrong when fighting the majestic storm bird.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
