Switch is in first year and is selling incredibly well WW. We know it has potential in japan so it noy being a huge success now isnt a big deal since it will eventually pick up later with no competition and huge system seller AND being handheld.
The thing is Switch is selling wonders in NA/most of Eu so once japan picks up it will be unstoppable.
Very good result for Girls und Panzers. Above Vita version in its time iirc, which is very impressive. Asian version is selling like hotcakes too.
The good news is the hype around Girls und Panzer #PS4 is real. The bad news is we've sold all stock via pre-orders.
You can still pre-order, but all orders placed from now on will be subject to a reprint in March.

Senran Kagura Burst Renewal is a lot higher than in Tsutaya. As a remake at that price this seems ok.
Switch is more than 1m behind 3DS launch aligned now.

Switch is also making much more money so no biggie
It didn't take long before the Switch surpassed the PS4 again. Hopefully PS4 doesn't fall below 30k in the next week, I think a baseline of 30-35k would be decent enough.
Switch may be behind 3ds, but its selling at 300 base price, instead of 170 cut from 250. You really have to consider that.
If switch gets a new splatoon bundle for like 33,000 yen, its going to sell like hotcakes again in japan seeing splatoon is the most seling game consistantly.
As for the baseline, both pokemon and animal crossing have enough long term selling power to perminantly raise the baseline by 10~20k EACH.

Actually, the price of 3DS in Japan was cut from 25,000 yen to 15,000 yen. 3DS was literally half the price of Switch at this point.

Well, it is Japan where handhelds rule supreme and consoles don’t do well.
