Finally settled an old score; I owned Doom 3 on the original Xbox way back in the day, but I never quite managed to beat it as I got stuck on the second last boss.
Today, on Switch, I finally finished the campaign. Feels good to finally see it through. Great game.
This is an early prototype version of the Forest Layer in Donkey Kong Bananza. It looks VERY different when you compare it to the final game.

Probably one of the reasons Nintendo doesn't publish and develop a lot of 3D platformers. They usually take more effort than 2D platformers thus they don't want them to be so similar. We finally got a 3D platformer for Kirby years ago, and Yoshi might get one by the end of Switch 2 or early Switch 3.
The next 3D platformer is going to be Mario though.

Just a note that Metroid Prime 4 is still in the UK top 30 (25 this week), been pretty consistent in the chart so far this year. Doesn't sound like a lot but its the exact kind of performance that results in surprising LT sales when all is said and done. I think it will be the best selling game in the Metroid franchise in the long run

If true this would make Legends more of an experimental branch of Pokemon rather than a series with a set approach. |
Well Z-A is quite different from Arceus, so they seem to be kinda prototypes for the main series. Its a shame because I really enjoyed Arceus and did not enjoy Z-A very much.

For fans of old school shooters, Starship Troopers Ultimate Bug War is out today on Switch 2 and is good dumb fun
