Which Will Sell More

PSVR 382 68.71%

Oculus Rift 115 20.68%

Virtual Boy 59 10.61%

Total:556

This is what you need for the PSVR experience not counting the headgear:
2 Move controllers, PS Eye camera, extra box for power and computing, a bunch of cables.
Those things alone will be more than $100.

This will be hard to sell without a killer game.

OR will also need a killer app/game to sell.

Gamers will buy PSVR. Casuals will buy OR if they are interested at all in VR.

PSVR. It's the only one that i'm considering, since the PS4 is the only thing that i'd want it for.

Playstation VR

I think PSVR....

I have no doubt that some of the other VR systems will be more powerful and potentially better, but I have a Mac and the concern that you need a top of the range PC to make it run for one is off putting.

That's not to say that I wouldnt get another VR system in the future, but i think for now in 2016, it'll be two PSVR systems, and probably 2017 a new PC and VR headset. :)

Oculus cause i don't think VR is going to be a thing on consoles for a very long time

Probably Oculus Rift but not by much. The PSVR might trail behind it by a small gap.

I am quite interested to hear why you think VR on consoles is a long way out.

It would seem to me, that the lower cost, ease of use, and optimized experience of console VR is actually closer to the casual community and the core gaming market.

From my perspective, the extreame cost, complex set up, and unstable enviornment of PC VR is very unsetling and confusing to the casual consumer, and the majority of the gaming community.

Obviously PC VR has its place, and is extreamly vital to the VR movment, but its focus seems to be more geared towards research, testing, and tech heads, as opposed to the daily needs of the consumer.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

PSVR BECAUSE OF DOAX3

I was gonna vote psvr but then i remembered that Oculus works with x1 and pc so that's a huge install base compared to the ps4 install base.

It's funny how your reasoning makes it look like you think both are free devices. Apparently the Occulus Rift is gonna be veeery expensive, it needs a high end PC to function and it doesn't work on X1 for games. That's already a lot of things going against it. Then you have the PSVR, it has a strong gaming brand behind it, it has the VR in its name so it's gonna be hella easy for their marketing team. And the design is much better.

But all things considered, none of them is gonna sell a lot, VR is gonna start slowly (unless we see a 299€ PSVR).

If it is expensive or not is very subjective.

PSVR will cost at least 100% of the PS4 main console, probably more if you don't already have the PS4 camera ($50 - $60) and two move controllers (2x $25 - $30 each). None of your already bought PS4 games will be PSVR compatible.

If you already have a PC with the Oculus recommendation, the Oculus VR will cost you around 30 - 40% of the price of the main system. A lot of your already bought PC games will be OculusVR compatible.
