When I get into scuffles with fellow fans, as I often do, it's usually because I think Nintendo has to change their ways to survive.

Yeah its not that I hate Nintendo, I just hate that they seemed to have lost their ambition to be innovators. They used to push console gaming to its limits and WOW! Cant think of a single WiiU game that has truly impressed me so far, at least with the Wii they used the unique controller to blow me away. The gamepad has been absolutely pointless so far and I dont see that changing.

While there have been plenty of Wii U games that have impressed me in terms of fun and polish, I essentially agree that they have lost their ambition, and that is why they are struggling.

They play it too safe these days. Where's the Wii U's Metroid Prime, Ocarina of Time, or Mario Galaxy?

I honestly have not seen anything of the thought. Sure some people have different opinions but to insult each other over miniscule topics? Never seen it.

I haven't really seen it, but if I had to guess it's different ideas on what they should do, kind of like the Zelda fanbase.

The people that argue about Zelda are crazy. I have yet to play a Zelda game that I truly disliked. All of them are unique and interesting in their own way. I love how they all have their graphical/artistic styles and that Nintendo doesn't just pump out Zelda HD games like the tech demo one we saw. Each one needs to feel totally fresh and new and unique and timeless, otherwise they will look bad 6 months later compared to the competition. Skyward Sword is still an absolutely BEAUTIFUL game even on 480i/p.

It's about preference moreso than dislike in my opinion. The Zelda franchise, from what I understand, has taken many different directions and that leads to many differents opinions about which direction the next game should go because of what they like.

Honestly, the only fights I ever see at Nintendo vids are started by Playstation or Xbox trolls.

Aren't we exaggerating a little here? A civil war? No, I don't think so. Sure, there's quite a lot of different opinions about Nintendo, their games and which way they should walk, but nothing close to a Civil War.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Subjective perfecption I guess.

If anything, fans will argue whether Nintendo should keep the good old formula or try out new things.
