Any hardware can only be as good as its software is. 

So the Wii U has superb hardware. And while PS4 and Xone are more powerful - both fail to define "next-gen" as they don't offer anything beyond graphical sugar.

Ah, didn't even know that /s meant sarcasm... 

As far as the civil war over whether the Wii U is "good" or "bad", believe what you want. He mentioned it's the "old fight" though, meaning it should be common knowledge right? Funny no one here seems to know what he's talking about and no one can link an example of this civil war. 

I think you just fooled yourself into thinking it's real, lol.

Now I know people argue about things within fanbases all the time. I mean for God's sake its the internet, but this has gotten WAY more prevalent and nasty with Nintendo nowadays.

Now that I think about it, its been happening for a couple years now.

What's the deal?


I think it is just people with different opinions. Also there are those of us who are old Nintendo fans dating back to the 80s, and then there are those who were kids in the N64 era, but much more particularly the GameCube era, a console that many of us older Nintendo fans dislike due to the many un-Nintendo-like philosophies behind it. So there is that sort of a generation gap.
