I think it is just people with different opinions. Also there are those of us who are old Nintendo fans dating back to the 80s, and then there are those who were kids in the N64 era, but much more particularly the GameCube era, a console that many of us older Nintendo fans dislike due to the many un-Nintendo-like philosophies behind it. So there is that sort of a generation gap.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
