Forums - Nintendo - Civil War Within the Nintendo Fanbase

On almost every gaming website I go to I see Nintendo fans constantly arguing and insulting each other about everything Nintendo.

Always arguing about games and features that their system should have.

Now I know people argue about things within fanbases all the time. I mean for God's sake its the internet, but this has gotten WAY more prevalent and nasty with Nintendo nowadays.

Now that I think about it, its been happening for a couple years now.

What's the deal?

Tsubasa Ozora

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

I haven't really seen it, but if I had to guess it's different ideas on what they should do, kind of like the Zelda fanbase.

I kinda doubt its as bad as a "Civil War" but its probably cause people want different things out of Nintendo which isn't really a bad thing... People having different opinions as to where Nintendo should go is a pretty great thing and it shows how diverse the fans really are

And some proof as to these "events" wouldn't hurt either so we can see what ur talking about

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I must be out of the loop because I don't see it.

i only read this site and i don't see that despite the big ninty fanbase. i see a lot of valid and different opinions though but almost always very civilized.

I'm not entirely sure on what the topic is here. It's not like fanbase arguments are a thing exclusive to Nintendo fans.

What? A civil war? Doesn't seem that way.

Proud to be a Californian.

It's the old fight about people who like games but recognize that the console is bad and the people who fool themselves into thinking that the console is good because the games are.
