I get that he loves the series, but I think it's a stretch to say they'd abandon it without him. Nintendo have continued franchises after lukewarm sales before.

Yeah, that's right. Nonetheless, the production of new games makes me happy. I hope it doesn't take another decade to release Pikmin 4 though :/

Not really surprising, that there are unannounced Wii U games. Hyrule Warriors was revealed in december 2013 and Captain Toad at E³.
So i'd expect one reveal for a direct and one for E³ again.

Still no new F-Zero sucks. Doesn't need new control interfaces. Wave Race, Exite, even the almost forgotten Stunt Race (imagine that with clay look in 60p), Nintendo has great racing IP's that are totally different from 'same sports cars over and over again'.
Not that i don't like those sims and semi-sims, but i don't need twentysomething of em.

Localization alone pretty much guarantees 2016 at the earliest for the West, which is for the best as 2015 already has enough. Paper Mario could make it though.

You may be right. As much as I think even more games in 2015 would be great, it might leave 2016 pretty bare which is something Nintendo definitely needs to avoid. If anything I suppose they could make it an early 2016 release which I'd be fine with.

Really hope there's no Animal Crossing coming for Wii U. Only way to lure my daughter away from it would be yet another 3DS Pokemon. xD

Since Miyamoto likes the look of Arno, or whoever he's talking about, that means that Assassin's Creed has good character design!
