Well, let's say they often undertrack PS4, but then they have to adjust, this happens always. We will see tomorrow.

He posted this after the official numbers came out... :P
Some nice numbers here, not too far from the preliminary estimates! Can't wait for NPD

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

You do know that is going to require multiple months worth of winning, a continued price cut, and more game releases in early 2015 than they currently have... right?

It doesn't always, they both have had their share of being overtracked/undertracked. Most of the data from areas with official data trackers like us, Europe, and Japan tends be pretty good. However, the rest of the world can be a bit tricky to calculate. There is also the whole shipped versus sold issue. Most of the time companies are actually announcing how many units they have sold to retailers but this site tracks how many are sold to consumers, so the numbers lag behind.
anyway, welcome to the site!
Well this is quite the impressive week all round. Not too hot for the U though.
Huge numbers.
At least we know the UK numbers are right.
If the rest is withing an 5 - 7% error margin it would be fine.
Seems like the pricecut payed off for M$
WiiU is doing fine, too. And the best Nintendo month is still ahead
120,000 Xbox One consoles sold this week in the UK.
140,000 Wii U consoles sold this Year in the UK.
I think this shows perfectly the situation for Nintendo in the UK. They are gonna have to change things pretty damn drastically with the next home console.

Good numbers. I am excited to see the what the adjustments for this week will be!
Also I'd say last gen is hanging on pretty good (depending on your definition of "pretty good")! A total of 420k from last gen consoles.
