It is expected to be on shelves between 02 and 05 of December, with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.

Some São Paulo downtown shops (those who sell imports) expect to have it by next thursday (27/11) but that´s not a certainty.

Pretty much. Day 3 is a lot less than 1 and 2 and usually the 1st day also does more than 2-7 combined.
In your example days 2-7 might even have a chance to outsell or at least match day 1 (ignoring other factors such as holidays etc.)

The 3DS'  installed base in the US is still higher than the WiiU's installed base in the US.

I'm thinking we're looking at maybe double - three times baseline at the most. A lot of the Smash market has already picked up a Wii U - or they are waiting for Black Friday. I think a few of my friends are sold on the console after coming over for some Smash/Kart, so the impact on consoles might prove to be more slow and sustained than all at once. 

I think Smash will effectively add ~25% to the U's baseline after the initial bump, as its release represents a lasting increase in value to the consumer, much like Mario Kart bumped the bottom line. 

Weren't some people giving some insanely large predictions? 750K, 600K minimum, 800K? 490K is good for 3 days, but I honestly expected more after the whole "more pre-orders than Mario Kart" thing. I guess it was just a bit more, I don't expect it to outsell Mario Kart in the long run at all since it's more front-loaded. (Yes, I know Smash Bros. is pretty leggy, but it doesn't have Mario Kart legs).

For comparison, Mario Kart 8 sold 415K in 2 days, maybe if we consider 3 days it was actually pretty close between the two.

We need global sales and info on hardware sales.
