Selling 10k a week in Japan is like saying a guy who's earning a salary of $15,000 a year is doing great.

You call that kicking ass? Everything is horrible, i mean wiiu kicking x1 ass right? Like that really matters when wiiu is doing horrible, ps4 is one of the worse selling consoles at this time (cumulative sales).

We all know its getting support, and how can you say no major games? Not the biggest hitters yes i knw but its getting lots of support compared to wiiu. I dont care if MK8 is out (1 major game this year), Not having any releases literally ever and wiiu (or should i say a Nintendo console) isnt doing that bad. I cant imagine if any company were in Nintendo shoes (no third party support), they wouldn't hold their own.

PS4 getting over 10k gives me hope. Absolutely no reason for the japanese to buy it so with a lot of good titles coming next year (mostly late 2015) it has hope. The PS3 still getting way more games so it just shows the industry in japan wasn't ready to move to next gen till end of 2015.

Stating facts is now very bitter, gotcha. Should I compare the 3DS to the DS in the same equivalent week? Will that make me very very bitter?

3DS is out for four years. Which hardware had it's peak after the thrid year? Maybe PS3 after a horrible start (without bothering to really look it up), anything else? So numbers are OK for 3DS. I'm only stating facts, you know. Should I claim YoY-loses in the PS4 fourth year? We better don't talk about Vita.

Nice, the PS4 hit over 10k. Vita is struggling a bit, but the pink Vita might give it a teensy boost. Phantasy Star Nova is also coming out in 2 weeks.
