The game doesn't have to have the best graphics ever to impress... not me. I really like how they use the particle effects. ISS is another great example of great use of particles effect and I will give credit to that game. Just blowing particles here and there just because they can is not that impressive but when they use them like ISS or QB then ehh color me impressed.

Also being closed and linear is bad now... that's what I learned in this thread. Will be fun to see the same people praise other games on another console for being linear with ok gameplay but stellar graphics.

Gamers on other consoles like the Playstation would be hypocrites to hate on a game like this because games like Quantum Break are titles Sony like to make. They were the ones who essentially started the exclusive trend of that. I'll even speak up towards a Sony fanboy who hates on this game. This game is right up their alley and if it doesn't go to PC its well worth the pick up on the Xbone if there are other games that interest them as well. Linear is perfectly fine as well as the story is engrossing. Xbox gamers need to step back for a second mostly though because they used to hate on Sony for focusing too much on Storybased cinematic progression inspired TPS games.

I am that kind of gamer that is not too fond of linear gameplay. Most of the time I get the feeling it's on rails but in disguise. The worst is when they are linear and don't offer multiplayer of any kind... just not my type of game. There are games though that catch my attention even if they are really linear. Like both Quantum Break and The Order. The Order's art style is one of my favorite. I just like Steampunk, Victorian, Dieselpunk settings and QB's way of manipulating time is just mind blowing.

Makes sense. There plenty of great linear games, but they are only tolerable to me if they have a story with draw power. Infamous is open world and is made to be played twice. The missions change based on the decisions you make.

It will be on PC. Have no fear. Remedy are a PC centric company even though they make games for MS. They have a loyalty to PC gamers that knows no bounds. How do I know this? They said it. I dont think they've made a game in a while that hasnt touched PC.

That only matters if you have a pc to comfortable run it. I most console owners don't. I can't believe how ps4 fans tend to stress pc when they don't have a good one so in the end if they don't get an Xbox they wouldn't be able to play it anyways . so.. I case in point it still a system seller and you need an Xbox to play it

The availability is all that matters. If a PS gamer has a good enough PC then they can capitalize. Its as simple as that. This is what keeps some gamers from buying MS consoles and has been the reason for two previous gens to begin with.

Which is exactly their problem. They think Sony is the only competitior when in reality releasing PC ports is doing just as much damage. I'm sure there are people out there who will just get the PC version to the game they want and never pick up an X1. So it just boils back down to them not wanting Sony to profit off it which is just selfish if you're still losing the sale somewhere else.

A lot about this game looks pretty awesome. And stylistically and graphically, QB is amazing. I do have some concerns about the issues of gameplay redundancy and being overpowered, though, as others have mentioned.

Anyways, I'll be watching this. Alan Wake was one of the 2 games that made me finally purchase a 360 last week (still waiting for it to come!).

Yeah, it looks amazing, but time manipulation is not new.

It seems to be like Second Son of Xbox. We need to see more gameplay.

"Every day I look in the mirror and ask myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?". If the answer is no for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something"

Steve Jobs

I wasn't really interested in this game at first. I have Alan Wake and have yet to finish it but I think I will give it another try in anticipation of Quantum Break. This game has now caught my attention and may be a day one purchase.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

For the linear thing. Did you see how many that complained about The Order: 1886 being too linear?

Yes a lot of people complained about that myself included. But like I said earlier some games can be linear and offer something great still. What it find interesting in TO has nothing to do with gameplay, it's all about artstyle but then again all opinion.

Wait, what? You've complained about The Order: 1886 for being to linear, and now you complain about others complaining about Quantum Break being to linear? Okay.

Hey you got me shame on me! It all depends on what the game has to offer really. Being linear and offer no multiplayer is a reant at best from me. But if that game offers something different then why not?

The game looks phenomenal, but the guy demoing it was absolutely awful. It made the gunplay look ropey and sluggish which I am sure its not.

I'm sold on it, but I would rather reserve my hype for when its open for the public to play.
