Forums - Microsoft - Let's talk about Quantum Break for a second.

Disclaimer: I pretty much skip story in games as often as possible.

I hated Alan Wake. Repetitive scenery, like 5 bad guy types, just super repetitive. Hopefully they can have a lot more bad guys and locations.

OP:The game will likely be on PC one day if it makes things better.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It will be on PC. Have no fear. Remedy are a PC centric company even though they make games for MS. They have a loyalty to PC gamers that knows no bounds. How do I know this? They said it. I dont think they've made a game in a while that hasnt touched PC.

Unlike Alan Wake Microsoft owns the IP to Quantum Break. So Remedy doesn't have a choice in the matter.

It looked pretty good up until that propane tank explosion. Like I'm not even trying to troll or be a dick, but it really looked like PS2 level graphics, especially the fire that burned afterwards. Maybe it was intentional, but I really don't know. The time slowing and particle effects look amazing though. Gameplay, it's been done before, but what hasn't really? Overall looks good, but not enough to convince me to buy an XBone, personally. :|

Were you watching it on 240p on purpose? Not trying to troll or be a dick here...

What?!? You can actually see the propane tank bulge, and explode in slo mo. The effects in this game were amazing. Remedy hooked me on their games with Max Payne 1&2. I actually took a couple days leave to drink, and play Max Payne 2. Those games were great, shame that movie sucked major donkey balls.

Was there a hard date for this game? Seriously cannot wait for this one.

You do know that MS can agree to a alternate publisher publishing on alternate platforms, right? The first Halo was published on the Mac by MacSoft. The original Halo 1&2  and the most recent Fable PC versions were published by Microsoft. MS isn't Sony or Nintendo, exclusivity is always in question with them. I thought you would've warmed up to that by now. History has left examples of possibilities and i've shown them to you so whether you believe or not in the possibility is entirely up to you.

I hear ya. Its a shame when games don't meet unrealistic expectations.

He's right, the Melee could've been better.  I would talk about competing games in the same genre but I don't really want to get into an argument over it.

That only matters if you have a pc to comfortable run it. I most console owners don't. I can't believe how ps4 fans tend to stress pc when they don't have a good one so in the end if they don't get an Xbox they wouldn't be able to play it anyways . so.. I case in point it still a system seller and you need an Xbox to play it

Ltd predictions by the time 9th Gen comes out

Ps4:110million

Xbox one :75 million( was 65)

Wii u: 20 milliion

The availability is all that matters. If a PS gamer has a good enough PC then they can capitalize. Its as simple as that. This is what keeps some gamers from buying MS consoles and has been the reason for two previous gens to begin with.
