xbox one is getting the free service much lik epsn plus is for ps4 atm . the f3p play games that ps4 offers  wouldn't entice me to buy ps4 if i were budget gamer.  Plus xbox live infrastructure  for online ga,ing in my opinion is better then ps4 online infrastructure.   i made a mistake with that and max.  should have put KI instead.

Guess what not every one is like you, your opinion is not fact.  None care what you think or like, you prefering anything does not make this any sort of legitimate argument.

Markets all over the world have spoken just look at sales, clealry people prefer one over the other.

i know its and opinion. i  did say it was my opinion. would never pass it on as a fact. i am not that crazy lol.

Fair enough.  on the xboxon ei got ryse, forza, D, titanfall max, crimson dragon  while on ps4 just kz and ISS in terms of AAA. I do have thrid party games but they are xbox one . i chose xbox one for multiplats beause i prefer teh controller nad i prefer getting achievement points then trophies and for me the difference in visual quality between multiplat games are small and not game breaking. hence why i got watch dogs on xbox one rather then ps4 as to me  the difference between the two resolution is small.  Fair enough i boght the ps because i love colletcing consoles. i will; be soon acquiring teh WII U to complete the set.If i was a conscious gamer and on a tight budget ,, the number of exclusoives would matter mainly the first party AAA exclsuives. . indies don't do it for me

Microsoft handpicks exclusives from outside devs and pays other devs to make their games. Sony has close first, second and third part who are dependable. Outside of Forza and Halo, Microsoft is really grasping at straws as to who makes their games and most gamers dont even know where they come from. Less reliable. Luckily for them they bought Rares crop of IP's because the lord knows Microsoft cant make new IPs themselves.

 you forgot Gears , Alan wake studio , lionhead studiois These were some of tthe top of my head that were depndable for MS during the 360 days. They have acquitred more studios this gen and hopefully acquire more. According to MS they have alot to show so lets wait till both have done the show to have a better comparison :)

MS was working on a new IP and trashed it just to get Gears. Epic wasnt interested in making another Gears anytime soon so MS was forced to buy it. Artistically speaking Microsoft is a very dependent company. It doesn't matter how many studios Microsoft purchases at this rate. We've seen their purchases for two generations now. Microsoft is just a creatively bankrupt company.

Now Arriving: Generation 8, PS4 Global Land

Multiplats might as well be PS4 exclusives cause the XB1 isn't going to get much of a boost from them, especially when people realize that COD is better on the PS4.

Dernebel pretty much hit the nail on the head. However there is one more aspect. That is people want the best console version possible performance wise and the ps4 gave them that. The Xb1 version was pretty much exactly the same as the ps3 version so when comparing the two there was only one that stood apart and that was the ps4 version.

Thats not correct. according to DF : We've previously covered console performance and have little else to add - Watch Dogs is a pretty solid title on PS4, adopting a 30fps frame-rate cap and utilising adaptive v-sync when the engine fails to complete rendering the next frame in the allotted 33ms window. By and large, gameplay remains at the target frame-rate with few deviations beneath - the exception being packed scenes with lots of cars and explosions. Xbox One operates on much the same level - the difference being occasionally more noticeable screen-tear that occurs a little more frequently. Unlike the PS4 version, tearing can also infiltrate cut-scenes and general driving too, though it is rare.

this for the ps3 version : Unfortunately, even with all these nips and tucks Watch Dogs simply doesn't run well on the PS3. It's a constant tussle for 30fps that rarely resolves itself successfully, and instead the game tends to flatten out at the 20fps line during our tests. This makes for some truly choppy visual feedback that makes handling cars in rapid pursuits feel off-kilter.

On top of that, we're looking at extreme levels of screen-tear for the PS3 release. It's among the most noticeable and constant offenders we've seen in this generation - a real blight on daytime scenes especially, where the artefact can easily be caught on long skyscraper outlines.  . Xbox one si no where and not even close to being as bad as ps3 version. i got it on xbox one  an dmy older brother got it on ps4  and they book similar and perform simialr. xbox one has  slightly more screen tear which rarely happens

Another reason is misinformation. I was in a Gamespot, and one of the employee's told a mother trying to figure out which system to buy that all the games on the PS4 were 1080p, and that the Xbox1 games were 720p. He also brought up paywalls, free games on the PS4, and the DRM policy that he said was going to come back on the Xbox1 .

max is still MS xbox one console exclsives. i did say i  have personal bias towards indies as to me indeis games are not real games . he asked for big MS exlcusive and i considered Max to be a big platformer exclusive to xbox one.  The game i s also available on 360.   If you count Indies along with AAA exclusives then yea ps4 wins but if you just count AAA first party exclusivess,, then atm in my opinion xbox one is in th eleas. that may change in the futre when more games come out.

You know what your problem is? You don't take into account that all the exclusive games released thus far on XO or PS4 are worth shit and people know it. Yeah, that is the truth. These games are shit (Titanfall? Seriously?) and will be seen as such in two years time. Not a single one of them will be looked upon as a great game in a year or two. Wii U is the only console with good exclusives that will still be considered great, but then again - it's older and already has tier 2 games and not such launch window games. Still, why doesn't it matter at all? Let's say that XO has a slight edge over PS4 in exclusives department right now (though IMO ISS is the best exculsive thus far, but I'm a sucker for such TPP games). Why doesn't it matter? Cause you don't buy a console for what it's got for launch, but for years to come! And what future is there in store for our consoles? Let's break it down.

Wii U - awesome but extreemely scarce 1st party games, and next to no 3rd party games, which will be watered down either way;

XO - a few good 1st party games, multiplats noticably inferior to the PS4 versions;

PS4 - 1st party games better than XO's (there are generations of track record that make this a certainty, MS can't touch Sony's first party offering in the long run), the best versions of multiplat games, it will get all the Japanese games that won't even come close to XO;

Now do you start to understand? People don't buy consoles only to play what's already out. We buy them to play the stuff that's coming and the future is the brightest for PS4, there is no chance that XO or Wii U can suddenly change that. The mistakes made by N and MS in the desing phase will haunt them till the end of this gen, on the other Sony will reap the benefits of designing a flawless console.

You may prefer playing WD on XO - fine, but I would never buy it on XO, when on PS4 I get a better looking game and extra content. To me it's obvious and I bet most people prefer to get the most out of their purchases - PS4 allows us to get just that. Buying a game on XO you know you are getting less than you get if you choose the box with a blue logo. That matters and this won't change in the future. Anyone who wants to get the most out of their money chooses PS4.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

It's pretty pathetic that people in stores like that would purposely lie about consoles in order to sell one over the other

what makes you think its lies.

idiots work at these places, they read a few times PS4 game is 1080 and X1 720 and they figure its the same for all.  Everyone knows MS E3 drm mega flop, but the 180 made far less news then the initial fuck up.  The stench of that e3 disaster is still ripe, MS has yet to recify it and honestly nothing will.  For the whole of the gen MS will be known as the ones that tried to fuck over gamers.

I agree, I wonder if some employees feel this way because if Xbox 1 used game policy went into effect, would it have cut alot of jobs. That Company was built on the used games market.
