The exclusives looked good and fun like sunset overdrive. Witcher 3 for MS conference stole the show for me. If thats the console graphics for the game than i am excite :). I am not fan of COD games but this one at least loosk most next gen then the previous one . i would say good and give it 7.5 out of 10. how did you find sonys one? i was at work when they showed it. heard most big games coming out next year liek uncharted and the order . |
MS had a great show I thought. Like I said in other threads where people said they had a bad show, they expect way to much. Realistically 1 studio can make a game every 2/3 years so why peoplethink that a game company can chuck out a game every year from every studio is beyond me. MS did well.
Sony are really flexing their muscles when it come to studios though. They can't chuck every game (or revel it) in 2014 because that will leave other years baron and nothing to reveal. I didn't expect all the studios to reveal games. Imagine E3 next year (or upcoming events) if they did? Nothing new to showcase. To me Sony are on the right stratergy. A couple of exclusives at launch, 3 or 4 this year and 3 or 4 the year after. So fo people that again expect to see everything, you're expecting to much.
Overal MS 7/10 - They show some games and exclusive but the multiplat showings didn't have any exclusive deal with them so seemed a little pointless. They also showed a lot of CG. But still a solid show. O and Crackdown is back :)
Sony 8/10 - beside the boring 20 mins of TV it was really good. Multiplats shown with some sort of exclusive deal. A few exclusives. And Uncharted 4, chin-hit-ground. No Mans Sky looks amaing and it's Indie. Great example of what an Indie studio can do and a great example why you shouldn't call Indies "not proper games". I'm a sucker for LittleBigPlanet. And it comes this year :). Great show witout a lot of Sony's big studios.
