Yea. I say those people should get their money back, plus whatever gifts were to be awarded them for donating. I mean the people at Oculus can definitely afford it, now.

Facebook isn't going anywhere, people have been saying the MySpace thing for the last 3-5 years, that's actually more fantasy than anything.

This is huge for VR, Facebook gives Occulus real dollars behind their ambitions.

Sony will make Morpheus just as relevant as Move- Not Relevant at all
Facebook will make Oculus mainstream, something people talk about, a device that people might actually develop for.

Ok, so this is why it's part of a big deal - 11 developers have just canceled their project for the Occulus Riff including Noth's Minecraft. Minecraft was canceled on the Riff the other day, but we didn't know why. You can read the blog here: http://notch.net/2014/03/virtual-reality-is-going-to-change-the-world/

So seems like more money from Facebook, but fewer developers want to work with FB on the project.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
