People saying supply issues will be the same to say that when it hits 15k. Some people can't face the reality of a market changing.

Probably is we dont know if it is either way, it certainly is supply in every other country, but yeah maybe japan is different.

It's too soon to judge. Wait until Natural Doctrine is released.

Just like with the Vita we'll probably have to wait till japanese third party support kicks in before we'll see the PS4s real sales potential and I mean exclusive third party games.

As far as I know Lily Bergamo is the only exclusive aimed at the japanese audience that is supposed to release this year (I'll just go on a limb and say that FFXV won't release 2014 even though that'd probably be huge), so we'll see what that'll do.

When all is said and done I still think that the PS4 will be the best selling home console in Japan this generation, but in the end that really depends on how much third parties are willing to support the platform.

I assume some of this has to do with the PS4 launching early in the year rather than Holiday season, which would have been better for PS4 sales I guess.

Anyway its doing great..
