going forward 3rd parties are going to be skiping ps360 more an more and you'll see less titles come to WiiU simple as that, 3rd partys arent gonna spend all this time manipulating games designed for ps4xb1 to run on the Wiu for a couple 100k more in sales

After canceling the DLC for Arkham Origins only on WiiU? Yeah they're pretty much done. There was at least some justification for porting PS3/360 games to WiiU since it was relatively cheap and easy, but PS4/XBO games would require major technical downgrades. It's just not worth the headache for maybe a few hundred thousand in sales. Especially when they get millions on other platforms.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
I am guessing that they want to optimize the game to its fullest potential. Wii U isn't in that future for sure if those are the parameters.

any links
im not sure, this yrs COD will have a full 3yrs dev time if theres was ever a time to assume a new engine this would be it also that would be what the series needs for this yrs game to have after ghosts which i consider to be the worst COD i ever played both SP and MP

Actually current generation engines are better suited to the Wii U. All 3 current generation consoles have similar console architecture (not to be confused with CPU architecture). The last generation consoles are 'CPU heavy', meaning that most floating point work is done by the CPU. The Wii U, PS4 and One are all 'GPU heavy. And then you've got to take into account that neither the 360 or PS3 have a DSP, leaving at minimum 1/6th of the 360's CPU and 1/7th of the PS3's CPU power dealing with sound. Current gen consoles all have DSPs. And if that wasn't enough the PS3 and 360 both have in-order execution CPUs and this generation's consoles all have out-of-order execution CPUs.
The above is the reason why a lot of Wii U multiplatform games have had poorer performances...it's having to brute force a lot of code.
As for Arkham Knight, I'm not completely writing it off for the Wii U just yet. We didn't hear about Arkham Origins until the last minute for some strange reason.
I am bummed out it's not coming to WiiU. I was hoping to play the series on it (minus the first).
e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
I've been saying this since the day the specs of the Wii-U were revealed: Once thrid party support for PS360 dries up, Wii-U dries up. They are not going to make a whole engine to release on Wii-U.
Though this was before i knew third party support would already be pretty much gone by now.
It's not coming because it's next gen only. People don't believe when people say the Wii U powerwise is a gen 7 console.
The first of many.
When cross-gen efforts are pretty much done with and developers move fully on to Gen 8 development, Wii U will be left out. Its not powerful enough for a straight port and the games dont sell enough to justify putting time, effort and resources into them.
