i grew up in Oberbayern and live close to Munich, i.e. I'm used to that. I don't search for reasons anymore, especially after last sunday.

And really, do you remember Otto Schily and Joschka Fischer when they were minister? They were even worse than the ones before and wre not from CDU/CSU. Don't get me started what they did before their political career! I think it's amazing how people don't see failures of the party they vote for and only concentrate on the failures of others. |
Even before NSA was valid criticism existing against the US. And that some people make silly criticism against the US (9/11 was a false-flag-operation of the CIA), that doesn't mean everyone has to silence my criticism against the US by lumping me together with such people. It is a usually way to get rid of uncomfortable criticism - claiming it's only "anti-americanism".
And yes, especially Schily was a proponent of policae-state like the CDU is today. And Fischer and Schröder were the guys of the big companies. But I don't elect SPD and Green either.

Of course there is valid criticism against USA but some are constantly hating against USA and this is anti-americanism.
I think it is really surprising how the minds change when they have responsabilities. Look back at 1998, how Grüne sent German soldiers to Kosovo and look how they today are influenced by energy companies. They played their role back then and still profit from it. To me they are as bad or good as any other big party we have. And they want it the way it is now. They don't want intruders like AfD or Piraten - after talkshows were they fight each other, sit together, drink some beer or wine and laugh together.

From what i've heard, it does sound relevant, as if Merkel has done almost no campaigning whatever and her foes have simply fallen over themselves (especially the poor Greens)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
It would be hilarious if someone like Steinbrück became the chancellor. I'm envisioning something in the lines of a François Hollande part two.
Either way, the extremely inefficient politics of the old bureaucrats of always are allowing more reasonable parties like the AFD and the UKIP to grow so it's all good.

Believe me, there are many attributes the Greens can have but definitely not poor.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Yeah I know. It's all part of a worldwide conspiracy including politicians, evil jews, aliens and 9/11 being an inside job among other things. If by "guys like me" you mean people who study political science - sure. It's always great to meet people who know so much more about the subject I study dozens of hours a week than me. You wouldn't believe how often friendly people in restaurants want to teach us politics when we talk about it in public. But wait, I'm all part of the conspiracy myself! |
Strange, no matter how often I read SxyxS's paragraph above, I just don't see a single mention of "evil jews", "aliens" or "911 was an inside job". In fact, you're completely ignoring what he actually wrote - you're just trying to portray him as some tinfoil-hat conspiracy nut.
But of course, since you study political science, you're always right. The very idea that someone else, for example in a restaurant, might be able to still teach you something about politics - just sooo ridiculous!!! When it comes to politics, you know that you already know it all - which is probably why you're still studying the subject.
But I guess I'm getting satirical. Please, let us drink from from your unlimited political wisdom. Simply enlighten us by proving the following paragraph wrong, in regards to content:

Komossa(die deutsche karte)where he is delivering proof before you fall asleep again. |
CDU dominating! 42%, Grüne below 10%. AFD only 4,5%, damn. Hoping for more adjustments.

1) No standard minium wage to the point of where it's argued the poor are getting poorer due to economic growth being the shittiest jobs. 2) Paying for the greek baillouts, having such an inclusive Europeon Union instead of kicking out countries like greece. |
Unfortunately for the SPD, one of the biggest branches (if not the biggest. I didn't do any research) that were below the proposed minimum wage of 8.50€ now have their 8.50€ (7.86€ in East-Germany) starting 2014 and 2 years later they get 9€ (8.50€ in East-Germany).
This was announced just a few days ago.
