Imaginedvl said: Okay so lets recap, as a Sony fan you do not see any incentive to buy an Xbox One? I see... Anyway, I can list them but you will certainly ignore them or just say that these are no incentive to you (which will not be surprising :)) - Titanfall, Halo, Forza, DeadRizing 3, Project Spark, Killer Instinct, Garden Warface, PvZ2, etc... - DLC first for many games - Majority of good game coming to PS4 (and presented by Sony during E3 are coming to Xbox One too) : Destiny, Final Fantasy 14, Diablo 3, etc... - Xbox Live - Cloud computing (more scalability, and Sony have like no clue how to do that right now Google, Amazon and Microsoft knows how). Well on that side Sony may actually use Azure or Amazon S3 to do that. (and please do not compare this to Gaikai). - Kinect 2 - The controller - HDMI in - SmartGlass with my existing devices (no need to buy a useless Vita just to do that) As far as the hardware, the difference is negligible (like few devs already said even it the "internet" believe otherwise) and it has been proven with the PS3 that it does not really matter.

- Titanfall, Halo, Forza, DeadRizing 3, Project Spark, Killer Instinct, Garden Warface, PvZ2, etc...
Not interested in guns and cars, but still a good point - DLC first for many games
I saw DLC and laughed - Majority of good game coming to PS4 (and presented by Sony during E3 are coming to Xbox One too) : Destiny, Final Fantasy 14, Diablo 3, etc...
Multiplats will likely look better on PS4 (360 owners liked to say that on actual gen) - Xbox Live
PS+ - Cloud computing (more scalability, and Sony have like no clue how to do that right now Google, Amazon and Microsoft knows how). Well on that side Sony may actually use Azure or Amazon S3 to do that. (and please do not compare this to Gaikai).
Come on, Gaikai. Gaikai = coul gaming. Azure ? maybe hotmail
- Kinect 2
Most of the casuals that could love kinect 2 noticed they haven't played Wii for like 3 years now. Why would they like kinect 2 ? It's an amazing device, and there are plenty of things I'd like to do with it (a friend of mine used it for a hand driven drone). Just not gaming. - The controller
Cool for Big hands, sucks in Asia. I used xbox pad for 5 years total, against Dualshock for 15 years. So DS4 still win to me. But still, great controller. - HDMI in
My TV too. - SmartGlass with my existing devices (no need to buy a useless Vita just to do that) I have a useless vita and 15 useless games on it. Great piece of technology, hyper reactive buttons and joysticks, great connectivity. Useless lol.
So, it has a cool controller and some games I don't care of. The rest is gadget I don't need. and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Seriously, just all bolded quote show how biased and uninformed you are.... You are just no clue what is Azure, congrats of showing that in your anwser.
Also regarding the "not interrested" or the "I have a Vita", the world is not levitating around you... This thread was about the incencitives to get an Xbox One. You are obviously not, so why are you replying and bashing on someone else incencitive?
Stop jumping out of your chair in the defense of your precious PS4. It is okay; the PS4 also have a lot to offer to these interresting in it...

I was just saying I'm not interested in gadgets features of Xbone, and that I'm probably not the only one. What's wrong with it ?
And come on, I'm misinformed ? Do you even know what cloud computing is ? It's only using the power server-side client side. Yeah that sound cool. Just sound.
Cloud processing sucks. Just because of one thing, the latency. A great ping (30 ms for exemple) is measured in milliseconds. Now, let's look at your CPU and GPU, much weaker than a server's CPU of course. Except that we are talking about GHz here, so nanoseconds here, not milliseconds.
Cloud gaming, for example, was interesting, because for 30 images/s, a ping of 50ms is enough. So the server can run the game, while taking your inputs and sending back the images. 30 milliseconds to send the input, a millisecond to make the calculations, 30 milliseconds to get the image back.
Now, cloudprocessing and the "infinite power of the cloud" : The client send a problem, the server resolve it and send the answer. Approximatively 65 milliseconds with a great ping. For big calculations, that's fucking great. For most of your CPU/GPU usage, that's totally slow.
Some things, of course, can be better with the cloud. On a solo game, the only thing would be lighting, for almost anything else, it would be too slow, if I remember correctly.
Now, some multiplayer online games could benefit it.
But seriously, do you think that making calculation server side and send it to the client is new ? It always freaking existed, it was slightly improved lately, it now has a cool name so it's cool now.
Cloud processing always existed, always has been used, but now the word cloud is used so it's cool.
Of course it will add some "cool" features to games, but it won't be a revolution.
Azure is a big thing. Of course it adds something to the way we browse, it's a powerful web infrastructure. But it's not a revolution for gaming. In fact it's not revolution in any way, it's just an improvement of something that already existed.
Gaikai is not better of course, but at least is it used for gaming. Azure already have a lot of tasks, and I don't think the improvement of games and Xbox live will be it's primary use.
