This third party support that you might exist wont. Mark my words and I'll take bets on this.


Japanese-only games wouldn't be successful anyway on X1. At least Square is developing for X1. In my opinion Japan lost a lot of weight in gaming, it's becoming more and more a market of its own. But I know many Sony-fans are also jrpg-fans so to them it's important. Still 3rd-party-support is strong and will be strong, even if some "pearls" from Nippon will not be released for X1.



Around the Network

We don't know all of PSN/XBL's next gen features, nor do we know a thing about 3rd party/1st party support down the line. At launch, I don't see an advantage for Sony in either of those categories.
