I've got to admit I have 0 interest in the x1 over the PS4. I'm in the UK though so it might be the price and that I am already a PSN+ subscriber. I'll get free games with PSN+ so that is fine, (looking forward to drive club) and the console is only £350. With the X1 I'd have to buy the console (£430 wtf were they thinking?) + gold sub + a couple of games and it would be about £550 or more.
I'm still banking on a Kinect'less version two years down the line for £300 though.
Both consoles look good though, I honestly think it's Microsofts's insane attachment to Kinect that is holding them back.

I really dislike Kinect.
