I had a clear cut answer for this going in the thread, GameCube, but then I see handhelds are included.

Haven't played Virtual Boy as it wasn't released in Europe, so I won't be counting that one. Have all the other ones though. It comes down to either GameBoy Advance and GameCube really. 6th gen was disappointing altogether anyway, such a farcry from the 5th gen. In fact, the GameCube is the only Nintendo system I currently haven't hooked up to a tv and is actually put away in it's box right now. I'll vote for GBA, if only because I've played more good games on GC than on GBA.

GBA is also the Nintendo system I've got the least amount of games for (WiiU not counting), only 7. Compared to 8 already on 3DS as of yesterday. Worse, of those 7 GBA games, 5 (!) are remakes of NES and SNES games and the other two are Zelda Minish Cap and Mario Kart Super Circuit. Coincidentally, these are also my least favorite installments of those series, unless Four Swords is counted in Zelda, which is also GBA anyway. Granted, the Ambassador Program on 3DS revealed to me that I should've bought Metroid Fusion and Fire Emblem Sacred Stones at least, especially Fusion is a brilliant game.

From least favorite to favorite excluding VB and splitting GB and GBC (3DS and WiiU placement subject to change):

GBA
At least Nintendo on the rise again with the 7th and 8th gens !

GB Color. It was my 1st Nintendo handheld but is was basically just a Gameboy redesign.

I only had Pokemon Silver for it anyways.

That is because it's literally a GameBoy redesign .

I'd argue that GBC is to GB as DSi is to DS.

GB/GBC. Not a fun system. Altough I would say GBA, but then SP came and made things better.

Gamecube was factually the worst Nintendo home console.

The only reason SNES and Wii are ahead are because they're answering this as a "Which console kicked your favourite console's ass the worst" poll.

Not sure if you can count virtual boy any more than Nintendo Game and Watch. First of all, Virtual Boy was only ever launched in 2 or 3 countries, so it is more along the lines of the N64 DD.

Gamecube for me. Nothing on it really interested me and in my limited playtime with the console, none of the games drew me in the same way Goldeneye/Mario 64 did on the N64, Super Mario World/Street Fighter II on SNES or even WiiSports on the Wii. Plus third-party support was fairly limited. The only third-party game I was interested in was Resident Evil 4 but that got released on PS2 anyway and when I played it I actually hated the new direction over the tank-like controls of the previous gens RE games (call me weird, but the made the games scarier).

Ona a side note, shocked that people are saying SNES, that console had the greatest 2D games ever created.

I love that people are disarming everyone who voted for the Wii as "immature" or "people angry that it was market leader". There are people who have legitimate aguments for why its their least favourite, its an edgy thing for better and for worse and it tried to take and even took gaming in a new direction. Radical products will gain followers who love them to bits and they will be shunned by people who aren't particular that the radical direction it takes.

Please stop labelling everyone who doesn't share your opinion as morons or childish, it is by far the most childish thing going on in this thread.

Yeah but Pokemon Silver was just that good.

I am a core gamer so that makes the Wii the worst. Childhood favs were the SNES and the N64. Gamecube was nice but lost me to the lack of games.

Either you are responding to the wrong post, or you REALLY need to lay off the crank.

If Wind Waker is such a bad Zelda game, then why is it getting an HD remake (which is unnecessary as the visuals are just fine the way they are IMO) and being positioned as one of the big holiday titles on the Wii U???

Getting a HD remake doesn't mean a game was good, just that it was commercially successful.

Seriously??  OK, name one mediocre or crappy game or series that received an HD remake this gen only because it was "commercially successful" the first time around?

Were MGS, God of War, Jak & Daxter, Ratched & Clank, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, etc NOT good games?
