Gamecube was factually the worst Nintendo home console.

The only reason SNES and Wii are ahead are because they're answering this as a "Which console kicked your favourite console's ass the worst" poll.

Not sure if you can count virtual boy any more than Nintendo Game and Watch. First of all, Virtual Boy was only ever launched in 2 or 3 countries, so it is more along the lines of the N64 DD.

I love that people are disarming everyone who voted for the Wii as "immature" or "people angry that it was market leader". There are people who have legitimate aguments for why its their least favourite, its an edgy thing for better and for worse and it tried to take and even took gaming in a new direction. Radical products will gain followers who love them to bits and they will be shunned by people who aren't particular that the radical direction it takes.

Please stop labelling everyone who doesn't share your opinion as morons or childish, it is by far the most childish thing going on in this thread.

Either you are responding to the wrong post, or you REALLY need to lay off the crank.

Ehrm, no? Try again. You just said so yourself in the post I quoted that the reason why the Wii was ahead was that people were somehow only voting for it because it kicked other consoles asses and others have stated that people voting Wii are immature. How is that so hard to comprehend?

If Wind Waker is such a bad Zelda game, then why is it getting an HD remake (which is unnecessary as the visuals are just fine the way they are IMO) and being positioned as one of the big holiday titles on the Wii U???

Getting a HD remake doesn't mean a game was good, just that it was commercially successful.

Seriously??  OK, name one mediocre or crappy game or series that received an HD remake this gen only because it was "commercially successful" the first time around?

Were MGS, God of War, Jak & Daxter, Ratched & Clank, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, etc NOT good games?

Obviously, Wind Waker is a good enough game to do a remake for.

However, the reason they are doing WW now is definitely not because they think this is the best game to remake. Ocarina has just been remade and Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword obviously are still too new. They're probably saving Majora's Mask for 3DS if they decide they are still going to that in the future because it's OoT's direct sequel which is already on 3DS.

Basically, Wind Waker is the next in line.

nah i went on youtube and searched Starfox Adventures review and found this video

he tried to criticise the combat and compared it to Zelda so that's why i said that

and so this --> If you want to compare it, to say, rare's N64 collectathon's, okay then, my criticisms remain the same.

^^what exactly do you mean by that?

Edit: ..these quote trees..

I meant that eveen if the comparison is against Banjo Kazooie/Tooie and DK64 instead of against Zelda, I still feel Starfiox Adventures comes up short.

Have you lost your damn mind?!

Banjo Kazooie and Tooie were worlds ahead of Starfox Adventures in terms of structure and design. Even DK64 was a cut above. Their puzzles and worlds were more well thought out, and there was a creativity altogether lacking in Adventures. They also didn't suffer its identity crisis.

No they weren't

Starfox Adventures had the better and well thought out puzzles. Starfox Adventures also had the bigger world. The world was better connected aswell

I can't believe people voted the Gamecube. I voted the Gameboy

GB Color. It was my 1st Nintendo handheld but is was basically just a Gameboy redesign.

I only had Pokemon Silver for it anyways.

That is because it's literally a GameBoy redesign .

I'd argue that GBC is to GB as DSi is to DS.

and you would be wrong as the GBC had games made specifically for it that could not be played on a regular gameboy. DS and DSi had no such issues.

Wii by far. It may have been the most popular but it was the only one I truly did not want

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

Of the consoles I've owned: Wii, by far. It's not a bad machine, but I still prefer playing without motion controls.

My Gamecube is basically my multi-player machine. I still play Double Dash; Melee; Monkey Ball; Wario Ware & Mario Party with my friends on a pretty regular basis.

Game Boy Advance was a very short-lived handheld but had some fantastic games during its time, and had full access to the Game Boy library which just made it all the sweeter.

So yeah, Wii is the one I liked the least.

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chronicles.

I am a core gamer so that makes the Wii the worst.

That doesn't necessarily follow. I'm a core gamer too, but I'll take the Wii over the Gamecube any day.

How could anyone vote anything over the Virtual Boy. Poll is either full of idiots, trolls or other systems fanboys.

probably cos most people never actually owned one therefore are unable to categorically say it's their least favourite (thats why I didn't vote for it).

anyway I voted wii. I know it's cool to bash the wii but I really didn't appreciate some of nintendo's decisions and first party output during the wii's reign. They made games for grannies and dumbed down several of their core titles during the wii's lifecycle. As a 20+ year supporter of nintendo I suddenly felt like I wasn't their target audience anymore which seemed like a kick in the teeth.

While I totally appreciate how long term Nintendo fans feel this way, that's exactly why I love the Wii.   It was the first system I felt was aimed at me.

N64 and GC were my kids consoles.  The only Nintendo game I spent any time playing on GC was Melee and I prefer Brawl (of even the original N64 version) over Melee.
