It's too late.

How could it be too late. It was just announced this morning. Game has to be done otherwise it wouldn't have been given an explicit date to begin with.

The decision wasn't made this morning, it was likely made months ago.  We, the general public, just happened to learn about it this morning.

It's sad too because my parents got me this game for my Christmas present thinking it would be out soon, now it's going to be closer to next Christmas until I can play it.

They only announced the February release date in mid December. Prior to that it had been projected to be a launch game, giving it a nice 10 month delay when all is said and done.

If they knew about it months ago, then they were being a bit disingenuous in December.

Submission takes 1-2 months, they've known about it since before submission.  It's very possible that the decision did in fact happen in December.

My guess is the decision was made when they got a hold of the NPD sales data. Business call, the platform wasn't selling as well as they hoped, so they opted to regroup and go for September I guess.

In particular, I think the Wii U's horrible performance in Europe was probably the catalyst. It's fine that Japan has almost 1/3 of the Wii U userbase, but that doesn't do a game like Rayman too much good, because the Japanese market does not traditionally support Western developed games that strongly.

I'm gonna guess they weren't thrilled with Zombi U's sales either.

signed, though I doubt it'll do anything good...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Won't do any good, but what the hell, signed. As if Ubisoft will care, the scumbags.

As has generally been said, i couldn't give two hoots that this game is now multi-platform but the delay is unforgivable and any suggestion that the game isn't actually finished can be put to bed by the above article from the developer.

Never mind that Ubisoft have now destroyed all the good will created by the developer interviews, exclusivity, fantastic demo etc. but they are also putting this game up against, not only GTAV, but likely whatever Nintendo has planned for the holidays.

What's worse is that when this game fails in sales on the WiiU, which i now suspect it will, you just know Ubisoft will use that as justification for the decision to delay the game and release it as a multi-plat.

Already 1600 signatures in less than a day.

Ironically, the Rayman Legends for Xbox/PS3/PC petition only got 174 votes after two months.

Guess Ubisoft was listening to that one :).  Unscientifically, this "proves" they pissed off far far more people than they could ever hope to please.

Then you begging to wonder what method they use to listen to their fans.

How did those PS360 fans get heard and not the WiiU ones in other countless occasions...

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

This word selfish I see being thrown around here Ubisoft is not interested in how you feel it's interested in money and for whatever reason they believe the delay will bring the best results. Why do people develop this attachment to company's and feel they care about you and not making money

Are we all forgetting that this is not the first delay for the game, and that it was given the green light by the 'men in ties' as a Wii U launch day game when the userbase would have been 0?
