two hour downladable game should not be nominated for game of the year

same can be said for assain creed and mass effect

The VGA awards are always messed up. Didn't last the Game of the year lose "Game of the year for X Platform".

Don't remember the details but i swear it did.

It isn't even 2 hours. Plus there is no story. The only reason why people are creaming their pants is becsause it was different and an "experience".  Give me a break with that shit. Your a fucking bed sheet ice skating across a desert. You can't justify that game being on there and not Halo 4 or Borderlands 2. 

This is pretty damn horrible. Replace AC3 with Halo and Journey with Xenoblade and ME3 with something else and Walking dead with something else...okay maybe the last two can stay because this year was so mediocre but still, no xenoblade? really?

Funny thing is Walking Dead is on there and they haven't even released all the episodes yet. How can you nominate a game that isn't even complete?

Simply because 4/5 of the game was so impressive that they'd have to do something totally unexpected and terrible to fuck it up enough to not be on the list, or the game journalists on the committee (pretty much all of them editors-in-chief somewhere) have played the entire series already.

Also I'm kinda shocked that anyone would be surprised by journey being there, you might not agree with the media but it got a 9.2 meta, which is one of the highest this year I believe only beat out by ME3 so other than it being a downloadable game there's not much reason to forget about it for a goty nominee list.  

Borderlands 2 and Halo 4 should have been nominated in stead of Journey and Walking Dead. Borderlands 2 is my GOTY, Dishonored a close second.
