Who cares what the awards say. I have Tekken Tag 2, and I'm happy with it. Never did get into the FPS thing. I got killzone 3 a few months back when it came in a bundle pack with a controller for 60 dollars. It was practically free. Played it for a few weeks, maybe a month, and after that, haven't touched it or gotten another FPS since.
Aim and shoot the other person in the head or melee just gets old after a while. I like fighters because not only are characters different, the way people use the characters are different. Except MvC2, where it's spam spam spam, and that's fun too for it's own reason.
And, playing online, FPS, if you don't know the map, the best guns, weapon locations, you're going to die every few seconds, and then have to wait 15 seconds before you resume running around like a headless chicken.
And, I know, in fighters, you can get the crap beat out you to the point of not being able to move, or touch the enemy. But, at least you're playing against 1, or 2 people at a time... Not 16. If you run into a game in a FPS with one good person on a team of 16, you're in trouble. It wont matter if 15 of them are only slightly better than you.
But, during a fight, there's more things that can happen. That's why fighting games can't do more than 4 character online, meanwhile, you get 16 or some other high number in FPS.
