That's supposed to be... better?

I'm done trying to justify myself...

You have done a very bad job trying. Insulting other people because they have different ideals than yourself isn't the best thing a moderator can do.

Of course some people are going to think i'm being unfair, but i'm generally not. Just because there are no women here doesn't mean that we can be freely insensitive on women's issues and expect to get off scot free. He had a meritorious thread with some inflammatory components, and i trimmed it. End of story.

So you think that implying that conservatives are stupid is something acceptable to do by a moderator?

we all know what they say about hot babes. fuck them but don't hope they are good for something you need a brain for^^

Yep, fox news hires them so they can sell there dumb ideas.

mr khan surely this must be sexist. i demand moderation.

The level of discourse in this thread is lowering, don't think i'm not aware. I'll lock if it devolves further.

so i take it that you want be moderating his comment.

i see.

"i slept with sandra fluke" = sexist

"conservative women are stupid, so they show they attractive ones" = not sexist

What spaceguy meant was that Fox hires the women to sell "their" (Fox's) stupid ideas. Not that the women themselves are stupid. Crissindahouse was implying that, but that is a more believable joke.

Isn't that the same thing?   Unless you think the women Fox News hires aren't really conservatives.

I think FOX hires neo-cons.

Most definitly, mostly to get that conservative money.  Though ironically it just hurts them... since the Neocons just really over hype small legitamite gripes to the point of where they become laughable in the mainstream.

Like the "Leftwing media bias".   That there is a leftwing media bias is something that's been demonstrated time and time again in scientific studies, though it tends to get made fun of, because Rush Limbaugh likes to pretend that there is some giant conspiracy to get the facts straight and report everything one way.  When really it's just a slightly liberal groupthink bias.

(Though yes, I know there was that one liberal website etc etc.)

I always get confused when conservative people talk all about the "good" fox news is doing for the republican party.  It only hurts.   MSNBC too, but less so because they're new, and there is a slight left media bias all around that makes them seem "less extreme."

Really it's the same thing with Women in the media for what it's worth.  The media is actually really male biased.

I came in here thinking "pics or it didn't happen," but then I got a lot of pics. I guess it's true!

True, and I dont support either MSNBC or FOX . I would rather watch the Chinese world news (lol). Less biased and provides more concrete news on world issues without their opinions getting in the way. Thats the way the news should be. I wont deny it though, Neo-con chicks are hot.

Well, most feminine doesn't necessarily mean attractive. Michelle Bachmann is right at the top of the list, and just LOOK at her.

Yeah, I don't really watch any news stations... and tend to aggregate on my news via google news picking one or two known leftwing sources, one or two known rightwing sources... then if  i still need something the Christian Science monitor.  Despite being funded by a cult they produce some of the most balanced to everybody reporting i've ever seen.

Probably because the only conditions for their funding are the name, and one religious story per day.  They don't need to worry about making a profit, nor do they need to worry about impressing people for donations or government people for funding.

As for the Neocon women, i imagine that's why there is an unsettling amount of "hate sex rape porn" about neocon women on the web made by liberals.  When it comes to actual sexism it's a MUCH more bipartisian issue then people realize.   As shown by the whole Julian Assange debacle.

thats what i was thinking when i posted this. but she is 56 years old, so i guess shes not too bad, but definitely not attractive.

Being that television news networks hire people who are attractive to be the talking heads regardless of the political leanings of the networks, I don't think singling out Fox News (or any network) is really appropriate ...

With that said, I honestly think that there is a connection between attractive women and women who hold conservative values and I think there are two sides to this:

1) Traditional(ish) social conservative values tend to benefit more attractive women
2) Women who hold more traditional(ish) social conservative values tend to put more effort towards their appearance

lol At mod misconduct and reprimanding. Seriously, is there even a mod process? Some mods just are not mature enough to hold a position of power. -_-
Also, this thread is interesting. I would like to see comparisons of household incomes of said women. Perhaps it has more to do with wealth then political affiliation?
