What spaceguy meant was that Fox hires the women to sell "their" (Fox's) stupid ideas. Not that the women themselves are stupid. Crissindahouse was implying that, but that is a more believable joke.

Isn't that the same thing?   Unless you think the women Fox News hires aren't really conservatives.

I think FOX hires neo-cons.

Most definitly, mostly to get that conservative money.  Though ironically it just hurts them... since the Neocons just really over hype small legitamite gripes to the point of where they become laughable in the mainstream.

Like the "Leftwing media bias".   That there is a leftwing media bias is something that's been demonstrated time and time again in scientific studies, though it tends to get made fun of, because Rush Limbaugh likes to pretend that there is some giant conspiracy to get the facts straight and report everything one way.  When really it's just a slightly liberal groupthink bias.

(Though yes, I know there was that one liberal website etc etc.)

I always get confused when conservative people talk all about the "good" fox news is doing for the republican party.  It only hurts.   MSNBC too, but less so because they're new, and there is a slight left media bias all around that makes them seem "less extreme."

Really it's the same thing with Women in the media for what it's worth.  The media is actually really male biased.

True, and I dont support either MSNBC or FOX . I would rather watch the Chinese world news (lol). Less biased and provides more concrete news on world issues without their opinions getting in the way. Thats the way the news should be. I wont deny it though, Neo-con chicks are hot.

Yeah, I don't really watch any news stations... and tend to aggregate on my news via google news picking one or two known leftwing sources, one or two known rightwing sources... then if  i still need something the Christian Science monitor.  Despite being funded by a cult they produce some of the most balanced to everybody reporting i've ever seen.

Probably because the only conditions for their funding are the name, and one religious story per day.  They don't need to worry about making a profit, nor do they need to worry about impressing people for donations or government people for funding.

As for the Neocon women, i imagine that's why there is an unsettling amount of "hate sex rape porn" about neocon women on the web made by liberals.  When it comes to actual sexism it's a MUCH more bipartisian issue then people realize.   As shown by the whole Julian Assange debacle.
