Forums - General - Samsung attacks iPhone 5! UPDATE: Nokia joins in on the action! UPDATE 2: Samsung release f?&£ed up ad...

Imho, the simple fact that there's a external storage capacity through microSD makes the Samsung's an infinitely better choice. When you think that people will buy 100 quid more for 16GB of non removal storage it's quite sad about how stupid people can be. This is how crapple makes money btw.

Actually they sell more phones than Apple.

But yes, they are jealous about Apple consumers. They'll buy anything that Apple makes, its like a religion, it's crazy. They can't compete with Apple in the marketing front, no one can.

I really don't like Android... I prefer Windows Phone over it... iOS is better period.

Anyway the iPhone 5 will sell way more than Galaxy S3... the Samsung sold more because have way more models in the market for each market segment.

10 million first week is comming for iPhone 5.

First benchmarks of the CPU (A6) are in. Twice as fast as the A5 in the iPhone 4.

Interestingly though, ever so slightly SLOWER than the CPU in the Galaxy S3 (not by much, but still surprising).

Not quite what I was expecting.

Nokia just tweeted this...

But the one that trumps it all? IOS. It's the reason I use an iphone. Apple's operating software is second to none. It's a million times safer, more stable and THAT, is the reason to use the phone.

Overall, sure. I mean, they sell bottom of the barrel, free phones. But their flagship offering (GS3) is going to get blown out of the water. The iphone is the number one selling smartphone on the planet.

I had an iPhone. It crashed more than my GS2.

THAT, is the reason NOT to use iPhone.

Well that and many more reasons....

No iOS is no buy for.

Maybe in the future if the Windows Phone get way better that it is today.

Personally my itouch has never crashed on me once, while I don't go a day without my droid phone crashing from trying to open google maps or trying to use the camera. Infact it's gotten to the point where my droid is basically just for calls, texts, and tethering  for my itouch to do any "smartphone" functions I need to do.

Also the vast majority of my friends and siblings own android phones. Every single one of them complains about crashing. So I'm not the only one who experiences these issues. Though I guess all that is is anecdotal evidence, but I'm pretty positive android phones are more known for their crashing than iphones.

I'm assuming this is due to IOS being a closed system as apposed to android where users are more prone to messing with settings or installing a poorly optomised or malicious app. Regardless I'm probably going to try windows 8 phones once I can upgrade. I appreciate everything usually "just working" with the iphone but my itouch is good enough for that experience, and my droid 3 has turned me off completely from android.

Partially true.

The biggest problem with android is that each mobile manufactuer tweaks it for their own needs. Then each phone provider tweaks it again with their bloatware.

If you get a stand alone phone, it is much more stable. or alternatively flash it with stand alone firmware.

Saying all that, I will love my android phone. Eventaully I will probably go to windows for the office functionality integration.
